An event organized to allow players and teams that aren’t able to play in their season yet, the event was live steamed for fans and college coaches, and had some very memorable performances throughout the day.
Here’s a look at part one of the 2021 standouts, featuring 7 players in the morning sessions that really stood out.

Jacob Cooper Jacob Cooper 5'9" | PG Green Run | 2021 State VA | 5’9” PG | CNPT
Cooper may have had the best two game performance of anyone in the event, showing that no matter how many people sleep on him because of his size he’s absolutely a division one talent who can get it done against anyone put in front of him. A smooth guard who makes everything look so easy, he was the second leading scorer in the event at 24 points per game, and shot an extremely impressive 63.6% from the field and 50% from deep. He’s a natural floor general that runs the team and can create for himself and for others, and he’s so smooth and effortless with it you almost forget that what he’s doing is so impressive.
Elijah Kennedy Elijah Kennedy 6'3" | SG Green Run | 2021 State VA | 6’3” WG | CNPT
Kennedy is another guy for CNPT who is a fast rising prospect who showed why he deserves more division one attention moving forward as well. He was also a top 10 scorer in the event on Sunday, averaging 16 points a game including 23 point outing on 10-for-16 shooting against a talented CBG DC team in the final game. Kennedy is a guy who checks a lot of boxes with his tools including good size on the wing and athleticism, he can really shoot the rock from deep and he’s able to create for himself and others off the bounce.
Cam Edmonds Cam Edmonds 6'2" | CG Western Branch | 2021 State VA | 6’2” CG | Chesapeake Jaguars
Edmonds was a All CBG Fall Series selection with his play in all three of the sessions in the Fall Series, and he showed it was no fluke as he brought it big time in the first day of the Winter Series, finishing the day as the top scorer in the event. Edmonds went for 32 points on 10-for-17 shooting from the field and 6-for-9 from deep along with 5 assists in their win against a very talented The Rock team, and before that he went for 24 points in a win over Team Assist. Edmonds is another of the 757 guys that deserves more division one attention. He’s a guy who can play both guard positions and knows how to get to his spots, he can shoot it from deep both off the bounce and off the catch and once he gets it going he’s really hard to get to cool down.
Jayden Eason | 6’4” F | Chesapeake Jaguars
Eason didn’t play for the Jaguars in the Fall Series, but he proved to be a very valuable piece to them in the first day of the Winter Series as he was one of the most efficient guys in the entire event. The 6’4” forward showed good versatility as he played both in the paint and on the perimeter and guarded multiple positions, and he didn’t force things, instead taking his opportunities and making the most out of them by making the right plays and getting good shots. He finished the event going 9-for-10 from the field in two games, and he contributed well as rebounder and defender in his minutes as well.
Amarion Wilson Amarion Wilson 6'4" | PF Kecoughtan | 2021 State VA | 6’6” C | 522 Warriors
Wilson was a big part of the reason the 522 Warriors were one of the best teams in the entire event, and he’s a stock rising senior who’s starting to get on the radar of college coaches at all levels. The 6’6” center may be a little undersized for the position traditionally, but he’s a strong kid and a freak athlete that uses a high motor and his explosiveness to make a ton of plays in the paint on both ends. He led the event in blocked shots at 5 a game, including 7 in a win over The Rock, and he scored in double figures both games as well. He’s a guy who is so productive without needing the ball in his hands very much, and his energy is something that his teammates feed upon constantly.
Vincent Cousin | 6’6” PF | 522 Warriors
The other duo in a very talented front court is Cousins, who compliments Wilson very well as he has some similar traits including his mobility and athleticism, but he’s a guy who’s a little bit more versatile offensively and had some big outings in both of their wins. He scored in double figures in both games going for 13 points and 7 rebounds in their win over Team Assist, and went for 14 points and 5 rebounds in their win over The Rock, including one of the biggest highlights of the day with a big time poster dunk. He’s a guy who can run the floor well with guards and finish in the paint through traffic, he’s able to face up and put it on the deck and he showed good touch out past the elbows.
Brandon Jenkins Brandon Jenkins 5'10" | PG Benedictine | 2021 State VA | 6’0” PG | Team Assist
An underrated guy in the Richmond area who is set to have a breakout senior year at Benedictine, Jenkins has always been known as a playmaker and floor general but he showed he can fill it up as well as he was one of the top scorers in Session One of the Winter Series at 19.5 points per game. The smooth lefty scored 24 points on 10-for-14 shooting from the field and 4-for-8 from deep against 522 Warriors, and he went for 15 points in a loss to the Chesapeake Jaguars. He’s a smooth guard that understands the game and has a solid all around skill set, and he’s a guy who has steadily gotten better and will be a steal at the next level.
