James Locke James Locke 6'3" | SG Carl Albert | 2021 State OK | 2021 Carl Albert CG |
MVP Jimmy earned his second consecutive tournament M.V.P award last weekend in Bartlesville after leading the Titans to wins against Tulsa McLain, Bixby and, for the second weekend in-a-row, Midwest City in the championship.
In his best scoring performance of the weekend, Locke tallied 21 points with five-made 3-pointers for the Titans in the semi-final game against Bixby.
One thing about Locke that sets him apart from the scores of other talented shooters in the state is his ability to hit long-range 3-pointers, sometimes so deep that they could net from professional-range.
Because of this skill, Locke not only puts points on the board for the Titans, but he also spread the floor and depopulates the interior of defenders, which helps his post teammates score more frequently and with more consistency.
Peyton Musick Peyton Musick 5'10" | SG Southmoore | 2021 State OK | 2021 Southmoore SG |
Musick has been one of the early winners of the 2020-21 season.

The Southmoore senior, who saw little aside from fourth-quarter minutes in his junior campaign, has stepped up to a great degree for the depleted SaberCats’ roster.
Musick scored 14 points in the consolation game to help lift Southmoore past Booker T. Washington, knocking down shots from deep, primarily, with great consistency as his is slowly entering the conversation among the best wing-shooters in the OKC-metro. He averaged 10 points-a-contest during the tournament.
His shooting is not only a point-producer in the margin, but it also allows his teammates more space to score as he is always a threat to hit shots from the catch.
Parker Friedrichsen Parker Friedrichsen 6'4" | SG Bixby | 2023 State #165 Nation OK | 2023 Bixby G |
Averaging 26 points-a-game in his sophomore campaign, Friedrichsen was as excellent against the field at the Bartlesville Tournament, putting up 26-a-game over three games.
His best performance came in the Spartans’ second-round game against 5A No. 1 Carl Albert, when he scored 34 points, including four 3-pointers.
Friedrichsen’s 6-foot-4-inch frame is part of what makes him such a talented scorer and shooter, as it not only helps him to convert shots above the reach of opposing defenders, but it also helps him to play on the drive, which, in turn, only frees him up more at the wing to shoot.
Additionally, the sophomore has tightened-up his off-the-dribble shooting game, making him a dangerous threat in transition to pull-up from 3-point distance and convert, a skill reminiscent of Trey Phipps Trey Phipps 6'1" | PG Booker T. Washington | 2020 State #171 Nation OK , though not quite as consistent as the Sooners guard — yet.
