So we take a look at some of the top players in every conference.
We now move over to the 4A SG’s. Many of these top SG’s can play the PG position as well.
Here are some of the top ones that will impact their teams:
Wyatt Bell Wyatt Bell 6'2" | CG Paradise Honors | 2021 State AZ (Paradise Honors)
-The Air Force commit is a natural shooter off the catch and capable off the dribble. He compliments Jalen Scott Jalen Scott 6'3" | PG Paradise Honors | 2021 State AZ and Blessing Nwotite Blessing Nwotite 6'2" | SG Paradise Honors | 2022 State AZ giving them more space to work. He can be a secondary ball handler and will be critical versus the top teams they play.
Amarei Hunter Amarei Hunter 6'2" | SG Desert Edge | 2021 State AZ (Desert Edge)
-An athletic guard gets downhill well and has improved his jumper every year. He can defend multiple positions on the floor and scores it from inside out giving his team that extra piece to score it. His catch-3 could be a weapon for the Scorpions this year.
Jahon Lethridge Jahon Lethridge 6'0" | CG Thunderbird | 2021 State AZ (Thunderbird)
-A physical guard can play on or off the ball. He is very good taking the ball to the basket scoring it through contact with his stronger frame plus can shoot it.
Blessing Nwotite Blessing Nwotite 6'2" | SG Paradise Honors | 2022 State AZ (Paradise Honors) (Pictured)
-One of the top defensive guards in the AIA. His lateral quickness, awareness and athleticism make him able to lock up his opponents. On offensive he is a star in transition with the best of them plus hit perimeter jumpers.
Shamar Moore Shamar Moore 6'4" | SG Peoria | 2022 State AZ (Peoria)
-A quickly improving junior had a very good off season. He got stronger and improved his shooting plus athleticism. He can take if off the bounce plus shoot it off the catch. He can defend a couple positions as well.
Marcus Coleman Marcus Coleman 5'11" | CG Pueblo | 2022 State AZ (Pueblo)
-An attacking high-motored combo guard scores it in the paint with a nice floater and absorbs contact. He can play on or off the ball and make plays for his teammates.
Andrew Camacho Andrew Camacho 6'1" | CG Peoria | 2023 State AZ (Peoria)
-The lone soph on the list is one of the top shooters in 4A. He avg 15 ppg while shooting an eye-popping 61% from the field, 40% from the 3pt line and 91% from the FT line making the 50/40/90 club look easy. He also happens to be a good defender while being a state leader in charges.
