So we take a look at some of the top players in every conference.
We look at more PG’s in 4A.
Here are some sleeper PG’s that will impact their team:
Andrew Moss Andrew Moss 5'10" | PG American Leadership Academy-Queen Creek | 2022 State AZ (ALA-QC)
-A pure PG who can score it as well. He has adequate strength to get into the lane and absorb contact to put points on the board plus he has slowly improved his jumper. He sees the court well and is a pesky on-ball defender setting the tone for the Patriots.
Kevin Potter Kevin Potter 6'0" | PG Sahuaro | 2021 State AZ (Sahuaro)
-A breakout candidate should be a tough cover in Tucson. He is an intelligent decision maker and will run the offense for the Cougars. He can shoot it plus drive it.
Preston Olney Preston Olney 5'8" | PG Coconino | 2021 AZ (Coconino)
-One of the tougher undersized senior guards in 4A. He is fearless and can make shots from all levels. He has good range on his shot and will take it straight to the trees in the lane and score.
Kenny Chamberlain Kenny Chamberlain 6'0" | PG Shadow Mountain | 2022 State AZ (Shadow Mountain)
-An underrated PG, by me, should have a breakout season. He has nice athleticism and speed to get passed his opponents and score it with a nice layup package. He also is very tough on the ball defensively.
Vincent Tedeschi Vincent Tedeschi 6'0" | PG Bella Vista Prep | 2023 State AZ (Moon Valley)
-A pure PG who can also score it. He has a tight handle and can change speeds to get by his defender. He also acts as a real pass-first guard and will make his younger core of inexperienced players better.
(His first game he had 26pts 5rebs 4stls)
Demarion Anderson Demarion Anderson 5'9" | PG Agua Fria | 2023 State AZ (Peoria) (Pictured)
-Another pure PG has the ball on a string. He is fast in the open court and can shoot it with deep range plus can score it on runners or floaters. He makes good reads and will be a nice compliment next to Andrew Camacho Andrew Camacho 6'1" | CG Peoria | 2023 State AZ , Corey Perry Corey Perry 5'9" | PG Peoria | 2021 State AZ and Shamar Moore Shamar Moore 6'4" | SG Peoria | 2022 State AZ after he sits his games from transferring.
Masai Dean Jr Masai Dean Jr 5'11" | PG Cholla | 2023 State AZ (Cholla)
-A slick lefty shooter will need to guide the Chargers since many players have left or graduated. He will get his chance to score and make plays. The son of the head coach has a good head on his shoulders to go along with his J.
Jerry Leyva Jr Jerry Leyva Jr 5'9" | PG Buckeye | 2023 State AZ (Buckeye)
-Another player who will be asked to step up his game with many players leaving the school. He can shoot it plus handles the rock well and makes smart decisions.
