High volume shooters often make more for obvious reasons. Some players make less but shoot it a higher percentage. Then there are those that come in the clutch and can simply knock them down.
6’2 Trei Rockhill, Crimson Cliffs High School
The Class of 2021 SG can really score from outside. He can score off the bounce and in spot up situations. He is what you would call a zone killer. He is so fluid in man off of handoffs and flare screens he really knows how to position himself and find open shots. He averages about 4 three-pointers a game. He is a player you do not want to leave open. Trei can play at the PG spot as well so, he is a good prospect for the next level for a team that is looking for some shooting from a guard.
5’9 Diego Mulford Diego Mulford 5'10" | PG American Fork | 2024 State UT , Cyprus High School
I’m going to go ahead and say this right now. Diego is probably the best shooter in the state when it comes to percentage. If this kid is open and his feet are set, you might as well count it. The Class of 2024 guard can absolutely make it rain. He is not straddling the line either he is hitting from deep. Diego is fast and he has a quick shot. He is running off of screens and just being active. Diego might be in line to break some records when it comes to shooting behind the arc.
6’5 Dylan Jones Dylan Jones 6'6" | SG Westlake | 2022 State UT , Pleasant Grove High School
What makes Dylan one of the best shooters in the state is that he can shoot with a hand in his face and you can’t put someone smaller on him because he will shoot over them. He also does so much more than shoot that he puts a lot of pressure on defenses helping and keeping him in their site.
6’3 Nico Smith Nico Smith 6'1" | SG Judge Memorial | 2021 State UT , Judge Memorial Catholic High School
Nico has been lighting it up on the club scene and now he has had an opportunity to light it up in high school ball. Nico can come off of screens and nail it from deep and he can also dribble into shots. He is really good at relocating. Nico is also a great golfer, he might be a prospect that can do both at the next level.
6’2 Justus Reiser, Bingham High School
Justus has not only been lights out for some time now, he is doing it against some of the best teams in the state. He had everyone in attendance in awe after lighting AF up and he continues to provide consistent shooting regardless of opponent. The left-handed bomber is a tough cover especially on the move. He has also extended his range. Could have been a solid prospect at the next level but he is a Division 1 BYU bound pitcher.
