2022 Rankings Overview
The 2020-21 season is well underway in most parts of the state, and the class of 2022 has a lot of talented players that are leading their teams to victory all across Idaho. The rankings have been officially updated and a couple of players have already made large leaps in the rankings. As the season continues, we will be watching to see if these players deserve to stay at the top, or if there are other players that will shine through in the second half of the season and have a big impact. Continue reading for a look at a few players from the class of 2022 that have made big leaps already this season.
#3: Titus Yearout Titus Yearout 6'3" | PG Lapwai | 2022 State ID , Lapwai: Yearout made the leap into the top 3 for this ranking after continuing to show his dominance for Lapwai in all aspects of the game. Titus is a gifted scorer, rebounder, and passer that also happens to have an endless motor on the defensive end. Watch for Yearout to continue dominating teams this season on his way to the next level after graduating.
#5: Johnny Sugarman Johnny Sugarman 6'0" | PG Ambrose | 2022 State ID : Sugarman made a huge leap into the top 5 this season after being ranked in the 20 during our last ranking. Johnny has continued to develop and is one of the best point guards in the state. He can shoot with the best of them and also has a tight handle that allows him to get wherever he wants on the court with ease. Sugarman will be a key part to the Ambrose offense again this year.
