Prep Hoops Maryland recently updated the class of 2022 rankings, and now it’s time to take a closer look. Here is a brief rundown of all the point guards listed from the DC area.

#10 | Devin DinkinsDevinDinkins5'10" | PGGonzaga | 2022StateMD | Gonzaga

Dinkins is battle-tested and tends to make plays in clutch situations. This probably would have been a breakout year for him.

#18 | Trey ThomasTreyThomas6'2" | PGWise | 2022State#200NationMD | Wise

Thomas is a big, strong guard who plays both ends of the floor. He can score from all three levels but is also a high-level playmaker.

#25 | Ty WilliamsTyWilliams6'1" | PGRock Creek Christian | 2022StateMD | Rock Creek Christian

Williams has good size for a point guard, and he's a good rebounder in part because of that. He's quick but also knows how to change speeds and create for his teammates.

#26 | Rob LawsonRobLawson5'9" | PGArchbishop Carroll | 2022StateMD | Archbishop Carroll

Lawson is pound-for-pound one of the best athletes in the region. He is a menace defensively who is very good at pressuring the ball and can be devastating in transition.

#46 | Cam’ron BrownCam’ronBrown5'10" | PGArchbishop Carroll | 2022StateMD | Archbishop Carroll

Brown is a pass-first point guard who does his due diligence defensively.
