NJ Benson NJ Benson 6'8" | C Mt. Vernon | 2022 State #238 Nation IL (Mt. Vernon)
Current Ranking: #18
Previous Ranking: #81
Benson was one of the most pleasant surprises of the winter to date with his performance at the Thanksgiving Throwdown in St. Louis against a bunch of Illinois Bears prospects. He was hidden all summer but emerged as a legit D1 prospect after being seen with a big and strong frame along with his ability to do damage in the paint. High level rebounder, rim protector, and scores with efficiency on the block.
Wes Hunt Wes Hunt 6'7" | PF Peoria Christian | 2022 State IL (Peoria Christian)
Current Ranking: #58
Previous Ranking: #74
The 6’7” face up four can stretch the floor to three on occasion and works very well out of the mid-range with his shooting and handles. Footwork around the hoop on post ups. Bounce playing above the rim finishing with explosion. Shot blocking presence on the defensive end.
Elliot Lowndes Elliot Lowndes 6'10" | C Cobden | 2022 State IL (Cobden)
Current Ranking: #63
Previous Ranking: NR
Lowndes is a prospect that has impressed us over the last few months. Long and thin big man that runs the floor with ease, works well in the pick/roll, can stretch the floor with his shooting, and even handle some in the open floor. Fluid athlete with upside.
Chase Bonder Chase Bonder 6'6" | PF Libertyville | 2022 State IL (Libertyville)
Current Ranking: #66
Previous Ranking: #111
The Libertyville face up four was excellent shooting it from beyond the arc at Details Training knocking in spot up and pick/pop threes. Really good floor spacer. On the block he sealed his man off and showed a few turnaround jumpers. Touch in the paint. Also runs the floor hard.
Benjamin Rygiel Benjamin Rygiel 6'8" | PF St. Viator | 2022 State IL (St. Viator)
Current Ranking: #105
Previous Ranking: NR
This 6’8” mobile four man runs the floor well. Has stretch ability being able to shoot it from mid-range and three. Brings toughness finishing through contact and is a solid area rebounder.
