#1 Kawika Makua (2021) – Jefferson County
Speedy. There is certainly a need for him to handle pressure with more poise. Makua does not have the escape-ability needed to play a quality trapping team.

Finished with 27 points. JaKobi broke out last year with a fantastic show of skill for a young player. Now an upperclassman, Gillespie is even better. Very sharp with his cuts. Gillespie’s handle is evolving and he breaks down gents with guile.
#2 Kade Parker* (2022) – Jefferson County
Kade again showed some lovely energy. Down nearly 20 points in the second half, Kade continued to hunt offensive rebounds. Parker’s athleticism is tops for Jeff Co. His shooting touch is just ok, when compared to the best guards in the state.
#22 Jayquan Price* (2023) | Greeneville
Price entered the game in the final stages, well after the game was ostensibly decided. What Price showed in that tiny window spoke to the future of GHS. He plays quick and hunts baskets with uncommon hunger. When the defender chased him around a screen Price maturely used the defender’s speed against him with a pumpfake. Price projects as a lead scorer in the years to come.
Community vs. Eagleville

#5 Jordan Reed* (2021) – Eagleville
#25 Damian Stingley* (2021) – Eagleville

#3 William Reed* (2021) – Community
#4 Jacob Cooper* (2021) – Community
Kaden Snitzer* (2023) | Eagleville
Great composure! Kaden does not get rattled. His game is still developing, but it is difficult to find a more savvy sophomore guard in Class A.

Fiercely competitive. Linton made his two free throws with just under a minute to play while leading by three points. His exuberance on the other end after CHS turned the ball over conveyed his commitment to the contest.
Stratton Lovorn (2022) | Community
Really wonderful basketball frame. Lovorn needs to improve in one aspect…finishing in traffic. His long arms and moderately-quick feet enable him to play on the perimeter against smaller guards. Lovorn is not a plus defender, but he is serviceable at this point. Wonderful steal in the closing minutes to help CHS chip away at a Eagleville lead!
Jacob Cooper (2021) | Community
Frenetic. Cooper is a hyper, tenacious player. Regardless of the player, Cooper is nearby. His pitter-patters are constant. The floppy hair flops beneath the white headband without settling for a second. The man is always in motion.
