Sawyer Smith – Shoreland Lutheran – 2021: Maybe not his best week of the year, but Smith’s recognition is long overdue. He’s averaging 20.9 points a night along with 2.3 steals. Earlier this year he dropped 34 against a talented Martin Luther team and has a handful of 20-point games to add to his resume.
Gavin Mcgrath Gavin Mcgrath 6'10" | C Onalaska | 2021 State WI – Onalaska – 2021: Onalaska starts another season with a stellar record. After significant turnover this offseason, McGrath appears to be the new guy leading the program. The North Dakota commit scored 22 points against Chippewa Falls along with 10 rebounds.
Brennan Timm Brennan Timm 6'5" | SF St. Johns Northwestern Military Academy | 2021 State WI – SJNMA – 2021: The forward is no stranger to big numbers. This week, he piled on 26 points, 10 assists, and 14 rebounds. Timm is a sneaky prospect that’ll give you maximum production everywhere on the floor. At 6’5”, he plays in between positions well, too. With a stout defensive game, Timm could be a jack-of-all-trades at the next level.
Logan Kowalski Logan Kowalski 6'8" | PF Kettle Moraine | 2021 State WI – Kettle Moraine – 2021: This big put up 14 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocks earlier this week, a performance that caught my eye immediately. He’s 6’8” with freakish length and a natural ability to block shots. He’s not afraid to dunk in traffic, and his stats show that he’s able to rack up points. A late bloomer that colleges should look into.
Isaac Skemp Isaac Skemp 6'4" | SF Onalaska | 2024 State WI – Onalaska – 2024: Onalaska picked up a statement win versus Menomonee Falls yesterday, and the freshman Skemp was a major factor in the win. He finished with 11 points, tied for the most points on Onalaska. A guy that should be watched closely these next few years, as he already has scouts watching as a freshman.
Zane Langrehr – Bangor – 2021: Langrehr scored over 20 points twice in his three games this week. He’s a great finisher around the hoop and gets out in transition well. Has a high-release on his jumper, and has drilled 44 percent of his shots from deep. A solid, steady scorer that is one of the best players on a strong Bangor team.
