Joe Reuter Joe Reuter 6'4" | SG Chippewa Falls | 2021 State WI — 2021 — Chippewa Falls
Because he doesn’t play for a big school in Milwaukee or Madison, I don’t think that Reuter gets enough attention. The shooting guard out of Chippewa Falls is a productive scorer who uses his strength and size very well. In a win over Rice Lake, Reuter tallied 29 points, including three made three-point shots.
Jordan Johnson Jordan Johnson 6'2" | CG Elkhorn | 2021 State WI — 2021 — Elkhorn
Minnesota St. Moorhead got a steal at the shooting guard position in Johnson. He is a great scorer who can create his own open shots. In two games this week, Johnson put up 67 points on 23 made shots from the field. I believe that the SG will have a very productive career at the next level.
Brandin Podziemski Brandin Podziemski 6'6" | SG Saint John's Northwestern Academy | 2021 State #232 Nation WI — 2021 — SJNMA
Podziemski has failed to score over 30 points on just one occasion so far in his senior season. The SJNMA shooting guard is making a case for why he should be named Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin. This week, Podziemski scored 102 points in three games.
Jayden Jackson Jayden Jackson 6'2" | SG Whitefish Bay | 2021 State WI — 2021 — Whitefish Bay
Jackson is one of my favorite players in the state to watch. He has a well-rounded game, always plays hard, and is never afraid to make the biggest plays in the biggest moments. This week, he had a very solid 24 point performance in a win over West Bend West.
Jack Rose Jack Rose 6'5" | SG Westosha Central | 2022 State #213 Nation WI — 2022 — Westosha Central
Rose may not have the upside that some of the other top prospects have in the 2022 class. However, I will say that there are not many players that are more productive than Rose. After scoring just nine points in a loss to Franklin, the SG returned and scored 54 points in two games this week.
Luke Haertle Luke Haertle 6'2" | SG Lake Country Lutheran | 2022 State WI — 2022 — Lake Country Lutheran
Haertle is one of — if not the — most underappreciated prospects in the state of Wisconsin. He is a gritty player that is willing to do everything to get the win. In an upset victory over a very good SJNMA squad, Haertle scored 36 points on 12-25 shooting.
Josiah Butler Josiah Butler 6'3" | CG Fox Valley Lutheran | 2022 State WI — 2022 — Fox Valley Lutheran
Butler proved that he is one of the top players in the 2022 class during the summer AAU season. Playing for the Wisconsin Crusaders, the shooting guard took over games and helped his team win big games. This week, he guided his squad to victory by scoring 32 points against Freedom.
