Week 6: Top Performers
This was a short week due to the holidays but I still made time to see talent in the state.
Here are the top performers from the week of Christmas.
Zane Lawhon, Midway: The freshman point guard had 15 points, four steals, two rebounds and one assist against Rockwood.
Chandler Jackson, Christian Brothers: Jackson led the Purple Wave with 18 points in their 73-50 win over Collierville. Reese McMullen finished with 14.
Zion Swader, Siegel: The senior point guard led the Stars with 18 points in their 70-63 win over Ravenwood. Matthew Schneider had 14, and Jaylan Wetzel added 13.
Josh Ward, FACS: The senior guard led the Crusaders with 18 points in their 64-51 win over Collierville. Daniel Egbuniwe Daniel Egbuniwe 6'6" | SF FACS | 2022 State TN added 17, while Kobe Wilkes provided 12.
Kamrin Jones, Bartlett: Jones led the Panthers with 23 points in their 73-65 win over Lausanne. Senior forward Luke Bridges finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Calvin Jennings had 10 points and six rebounds. Amarr Knox Amarr Knox 6'3" | PG Bartlett | 2022 State #212 Nation TN added 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Alex Anderson, Tipton–Rosemark Academy: Anderson led the Rebels with 27 points in their 79-73 win over Pure Prep. Cam Donegan finished with 22.
Davon Barnes, Collierville: Barnes led the Dragons with 24 points in their 68-46 win over Harding Academy. Josh Dawson added 13.
Phil Dotson III, Arlington: Dotson led the Tigers with 23 in their 90-46 in over Obion County. Madison Peaster finished with 12 points, eight assists and four rebounds. Anthony Medlock added 12. Isaiah Jones provided nine points and five steals.
