The Class of 2023 rankings have been updated and it’s time to take a look at the top players by position. Here’s a look at the top wings for this iteration of the rankings.
#1 - Marquis CookMarquisCook6'6" | SFJefferson | 2023State#27NationOR (2023 Jefferson)
Cook currently plays more as a forward in high school but we’re listing him as a wing as that’s the position he’ll likely play at the college level. Truth of the matter is, the 6-foot-7 sophomore does it all on the basketball floor and is incredibly skilled in all phases of the game. The expectations are high for Mookie as a consensus top 25 ranked player in his class nationally, but the key with his development is playing with consistency and having more of the "dog", take charge type of mentality.
#3 - Adrian Mosley
AdrianMosley6'2" | SFGrant | 2023StateOR (2023 Grant)
Mosley is another do-it-all type of player who is hard to narrow down when it comes to a position. The 6-foot-2 sophomore is capable of playing any position on the court at both ends of the floor at the high school level but we project him to eventually settle in as a wing. The key for Mosley will be developing a reliable jump shot from the perimeter.

Nywaun CampbellNywaunCampbell6'3" | SGRoosevelt | 2023StateOR (2023 Roosevelt)
Campbell is a raw talent who is starting to scratch the surface of his potential at Roosevelt. At 6-foot-4 he has good size on the wing and is also a good run-and-jump athlete. With the graduation losses for the Roughriders, there’s no doubt that head coach Yusuf Leary will be depending on Campbell heavily this upcoming season.

Gray ThompsonGrayThompson6'4" | SFCentral Catholic | 2023StateOR (2023 Central Catholic)
We first got a glimpse of Thompson during open gym his freshman year and were immediately impressed with his combination of size, strength, and skills for his age. The 6-foot-4 wing shoots it well from the perimeter and has the height to battle for rebounds and on defense down low. His upside is high and it’s a good bet we’ll see him in the varsity rotation in 2020-21.

Jeremiah StiglerJeremiahStigler6'1" | CGGrant | 2023StateOR (2023 Grant)
Stigler got onto our radar this summer as he was very active in participating in combines and camps on the West Coast. The 6-foot-2 lefty is capable of knocking down open jumpers but is at his best attacking the basket and finishing around the hoop. Grant as always is deep in the backcourt but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Stigler ascend to the varsity level as a sophomore.
