The value throughout the state at this position is what we can call Rich! There will be several Power 5 signees out of the group below. This was the toughest group to rank due to the sheer volume of talent. It is several guys who could easily be added to this group.
1. Keshawn Murphy Keshawn Murphy 6'10" | SF Ramsay | 2021 State #152 Nation AL , 6’10, 2021, Ramsay: This kid has all the physical attributes and tools. He can shoot it with range, he can put it on the floor and drive it to the basket, He is an above-average passer, a beast on the glass, and is a good rim protector. He has all the potential to play well after he’s done at Mississippi State.
2. Barry Dunning Barry Dunning 6'6" | NA lbs | SF McGill-Toolen | 2022 State #133 Nation AL , 6’6, 2022, McGill-Toolen: A top 50 player nationally in the class of ’22 according to ESPN this long and skilled wing player has the potential to be a high major prospect. He has a complete game on both ends of the floor, but with added strength could be one of the best I the country.

Martavious Russell Martavious Russell 6'4" | NA lbs | SF Sipsey Valley | 2022 State #239 Nation AL , 6’4, 2022, Sipsey Valley: Will project to the lead guard position on the next level, but as he continues to develop his guard skills he is one of the most dynamic athletes in the country. He has a very high IQ and vision and is also an improving passer. Look for his name to began being mentioned nationally by the end of this season.
4. Jalon Moore Jalon Moore 6'7" | SF Gardendale | 2021 State AL , 6’7, 2021, Gardendale: The Georgia Tech signee has all the physical attributes to play on the power 5 level. He is a next-level athlete that has an improving offensive game that will only get better as the coaching improves. Anxious to see how he leads in his senior campaign.
5. Rylan Houck Rylan Houck 6'5" | NA lbs | SF Oxford | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’6, 2022, Oxford: A interesting prospect as he is in a steady incline in his interest and overall game. With Power 5 schools taking notice of this long athlete that can play all positions on the perimeter at a high level. Look for this swiss army knife to only improve over the next few years.
6. J’Quan Broxson J’Quan Broxson 6'5" | NA lbs | SF Geneva County | 2022 #NA Nation AL , 6’5, 2022, Geneva County: You can’t help but love the game of this will put together prospect. He can shoot it from outside, he can put it on the floor and play bully ball, and also guard at a high level. His scores in so many ways and with added work will become a more sought after prospect going forward.
7. Win Miller Win Miller 6'3" | SF Vestavia Hills | 2023 State #240 Nation AL , 6’3, 2022, Vestavia Hills: The best shooter of this group hands down. He will protect to a guard position on the next level but is one of the more skilled wing players in the state at this point of his game. He is very good in the open court and is becoming one of the better athletes as his game can be played above the rim.
8. Justin Moore Justin Moore 6'4" | SF Oxford | 2021 State AL , 6’4, 2021, Oxford: The biggest athlete of the group with the ability to put any defender on a poster at any time. He is improving his ability to shoot the basketball with range and with added work has improved in one on one situations. He projects to be a D1 3 and D guy as he continues to improve his outside shot.
9. Riley Leonard Riley Leonard 6'4" | SF Fairhope | 2021 State AL , 6’4, 2021, Fairhope: The Duke Football signee is one of the top QB’s in the country. But don’t sleep on his ability on the basketball court. If he chose he could’ve easily played D1 basketball. He is an above the rim athlete that thrives in the open court and overpowers most who try and guard in inside or on the wing.
10. Chase McCarty Chase McCarty 6'5" | SG IMG Academy | 2024 State #71 Nation FL , 6’4, 2024, Westminster: The youngest of the list has really had a breakout type of season so far this year. He has the potential to be the top player in his class when the rankings drop in the top of next year. He has a very nice skillset at a young age as he can shoot it, drive it, and defend at a high level. Excited to see his improvement over the next few seasons.
