Is he a point or a 2? Can he handle it good enough to be a full-time point or can he score it consistently enough to be a 2? These are some of the questions that are asked when evaluating guys who can play either position. 

Unfortunately, its used in a negative connotation to point out deficiencies more so than strengths. However, in today’s game of position-less basketball, the combo guard has become one of the more important positions on any given roster. 

Throughout the state across all classes, there are a great group of guys who fit the mold of guys who can contribute to multiple guard positions.
