Section 1AAAA Rundown
Lakeville South is the clear favorite as they enter the season as the number one team in the state. With their depth, size, and experience coming off a top ten in Class AAAA (most of the year) season they are the most deserving pick. Because of that they are the heavy favorite to win 1AAAA. Mayo and South didn’t get a chance to play the section game last year which is a shame as that game would of been fun (Mayo had the Madsen brothers) but don’t look away from the Spartans as they will have one of the most talented starting fives in the section. Farmington will take a big step this year and watch out for Owatonna as their talented youth is about to come of age. Owatonna and Lakeville South is our pick for the section title contest.
