Nick Wasilewski Nick Wasilewski 6'6" | PF Jackson | 2022 State MO 6’6″ Jackson: The 2022 jumping jack displayed his explosive athleticism in the Indians’ victory over Scott County Central in the first round of the SE Missourian Christmas Tournament in Cape Girardeau. He scored a game-high 24 points, which included seven slam dunks all different varieties. He also blocked several shots on the afternoon during his dominant performance.
Bradyn Porter 6’3″ Skyline: The 2022 forward scored a game-high 21 points in Skyline’s 68-41 victory over Branson in the first round of the Blue&Gold, Blue Division Tournament in Springfield. Porter got his team rolling early with a couple of big first quarter dunks as he had his way around the basket.
Orie Owen 6’6″ Doniphan: The 2021 lefty scored 15 points in the Dons’ 62-44 victory in the first round of the Bloomfield Tournament. I was impressed with his length and agility as well as his ability to score in the low post. He has a nice shooting touch, which includes a very effective turnaround jumper. He does a good job of using the backboard well.
Gavin Davis Gavin Davis 6'4" | PF Willard | 2022 State MO 6’4″ Willard: The 2022 forward grabbed a game-high 20 rebounds in a 65-41 victory over Mountain Grove in the first round of the Blue & Gold Tournament in Springfield. Anytime, you grab anywhere close to 20 rebounds, you are putting in some serious work and you deserved to be recognized.
Anthony Green 6’4″ Parkview: The 2021 forward buffaloed his way to 15 points in the Vikings’ victory over Glendale in the first round of the Blue & Gold Tournament in Springfield. Throughout the game, he used his physical strength to create space and grab several offensive rebounds. He was also a good finisher around the basket. He used his 205-pound body well.
