Rafe Kalberloh 6’2″ Lakeland: The stout 2021 wing scored 29 points to lead the Vikings to a convincing victory over Adrian in the championship game of the WEMO Conference Tournament. “Lakeland Buckets” scored 18 points in the first quarter, including four 3-pointers to get his team off to a fast start. He has the ability to score at all three levels and he has a post game to go along with it. He is closing in on 2,000 career points.
Jordan Andrews Jordan Andrews 6'0" | CG Thayer | 2022 State MO 6’0″ Thayer: The 2022 guard scored a game-high 30 points in Thayer’s 67-53 victory over Carthage at the Four States Challenge in Webb City. He is supremely confident with the basketball in his hands and it shows whether he’s handing it against pressure, dropping dimes to open teammates or knocking down mid-range jumpers on the move. He also connected on three 3-pointers. He just plays the game under control.
Nick Kern 6’6″ Vashon: The 2021 VCU recruit scored a game-high 20 points in the Wolverines 72-49 victory over South Iron on Saturday afternoon. Nick plays a very aggressive game, but looks smooth while doing it. He slashes to the basket well for layups and dunks and crushes the offensive boards for more buckets. He is also good from 3-point range to make him a complete offensive package. He also gets a lot of money of transition as the Wolverines turn teams over with his pressure defense.
Nickhai Howard 6’0″ Webb City: The stocky 2021 point guard had 19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals in the Cardinals’ 84-54 victory over Pittsburg at the Four States Shootout. He plays with great pace and physicality with that strong body of his. He can bully-ball smaller defenders in the lane and drop off others with his ball handling skills while also keeping his teammates involved. The 12 rebounds is tremendous for a 6-footer.
Kai Brown 6’0″ and Mason Ballay Mason Ballay 5'11" | PG Mt Vernon | 2021 State MO 6’0″ Mt. Vernon: The talented Mountaineer backcourt combined for 47 points in a 61-57 victory over East Newton at the Four States Challenge. Brown, a 2022 guard, scored a game-high 25. He provided much of the his team’s offense in the first half with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Ballay took it from there as he scored 19 of his 22 points after overtime. The talented 2021 guard is averaging around 25 points as he is one of the top backcourt performers in the Ozark region.
