Some of these players came into the season under the radar or underrated. Make sure you check these guys out. They are poised to have an outstanding season!
Alphabetically, here are our players:
Brett Limke Brett Limke 6'1" | PG West Fargo | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-1 G| West Fargo – Looks to be a high-level shooter who put in six 3’s in his first game. He has a great feel for the game and seems to always be in control. Brett knows when to push the tempo and he knows when to slow things down. I am expecting a huge year from this junior guard.
Carter Birrenkott Carter Birrenkott 6'5" | PF West Fargo | 2021 State ND (2021) |6-5 F| West Fargo – A player with a great motor who plays hard. Carter moves well and is an effective cutter. He shoots it with a nice soft touch from 15 feet in. Carter is a creative finisher around the rim that can use finesse or power.
Dominic Dosmann (2021) |6-8 F| West Fargo Sheyenne – Lanky player with long arms. He seemed to always be in the right place on the floor when the Mustangs needed a basket. I like his determination and how he crashes the offensive boards. Watch out for this lefty.
Jackson Anderson (2021) |6-3 G| Hillsboro/Central Valley – A big guard who looks to have all the skills to be a solid player. He plays with determination and grit. As the year goes on, I am expecting him to progressively improve and produce.
Joel Pease (2021) |6-5 F| West Fargo – A nice athlete who plays with good flow. He takes what the defense gives him. Joel has an accurate, soft, easy shot from 3. Expect him to average double digits this year in the scoring column. The best part about his game is all the little things he does that do not show up in the stats.
Kameron Arechigo (2021) |6-2 G| Fargo South – This player can flat out score. He could lead the EDC in points per game this year. Kam shoots the 3-ball with a nice base and balance. His shooting form looks to be right out of the book. He has an entire plethora of moves. I like his step-back. Kam shoots it effortlessly from deep, his range goes back to the volleyball line. He scored over 30 points in his first game. If you like watching offense, check his game out.
Paul Olson Paul Olson 6'3" | SF Kindred | 2022 State ND (2022) (6-4 G| Kindred – Ridiculous athlete who can rip it by the defender, dribble once or twice and finish the play with a massive dunk. He also had a great alley-oop dunk that left everyone in the gym in awe. Expect big things from Paul, he plays hard and has the athleticism to make him a scary player.
Zachary Kraft (2023) |5-10 G| Grand Forks Red River – An up-and-coming young guard. He led the Roughriders in scoring in the first game. Zach has extremely good handles. He has a quality looking 3-point shot with some range. He shoots it quick with solid form. Expect a big year from this player on the rise.
