Conner Arment, Barstow, Sr.- PG 5’9
Conner had a good 1st half keeping the score close with multiple 3-point makes. He controlled the pace with his quick handles and easily got to his spots. He cooled off a bit in the 2nd half, but continued to hunt for his shot. As a great leader that understands the game, he made the right plays down the stretch but it wasn’t enough.
Aidan Lawlor, Barstow, Fr. – SF 6’4
Aidan was strong in his debut varsity game as a freshman. He hit some big shots inside and out to keep things close. He looked to secure every rebound and showed no fear as an underclassman. I noticed how hard he was playing throughout the second half and it payed off for him individually.
Carter Lichtsinn Carter Lichtsinn 6'2" | SF Olathe West | 2021 State KS , Olathe West, Sr.- F 6’4
Carter started off HOT scoring the first 9 points for Olathe West. His role is to carry the team offensively this season and he’s up for the challenge. He takes the shots that are available without forcing it offensively. He cooled off a bit in the 2nd half, but stayed consistent with good movement, running the floor, and getting to the FT line.
Tommy Faseru Tommy Faseru 6'2" | CG Olathe West | 2021 State KS , Olathe West, Sr.- G 6’2
Tommy found another gear in the 2nd quarter as the Owls started to pull away. He led the charge with back-to-back big lay-ups and outstanding defense. He quickly fell into confidence with the trust of Coach Ball, and his teammates. He played point guard when needed and looks to get downhill at every opportunity.
