2024 6-0 G Tahai “Boogie” Morgan – Lanier
Boogie’s motor and flat out energy was infectious. The freshman goes full tilt and made the most of his playing time. Morgan hit some huge shots in the fourth quarter and had 7 of his 11 points in the second half to go along with his 5 rebounds. Morgan earned numerous second chances when crashing the glass. Off the dribble he could get in the lane and finish with floaters or draw fouls. Morgan will benefit greatly playing next to Andrew McConnell Andrew McConnell 6'0" | PG Lanier | 2021 State GA and Iajah Phillips Iajah Phillips 6'0" | CG Lanier | 2021 State GA .
2023 5-10 PG Dre Raven Dre Raven 5'11" | CG Gainesville | 2023 State GA – Cherokee Bluff
An explosive athlete that is still learning how to be a point guard, Dre Raven Dre Raven 5'11" | CG Gainesville | 2023 State GA showed some flashes of what he is on the verge of becoming. Raven’s quickness helps him get into the lane where he made good decisions and consistently found open teammates. In the open court, no one is catching Raven once he gets downhill. He’s got upside as a defender with his lateral quickness. He had 14 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in a 59-49 win over Mill Creek.
2023 6-1 G Johnathan Taylor – Mill Creek
Johnathan Taylor impressed with his aggressive demeanor and ability to get to the basket. His defense sparked his offense as he swiped away steals and would finish in transition. Taylor had a nice pull-up from 10-feet and always found a way to keep pressure on the defense. Adding a three-point shot will help his development.
2023 6-1 G Jadon Yeh – White County
The son of a coach, Jadon Yeh is a burgeoning star in White County. He’s got great polish to his game and utilizes little tricks of the trade to be successful. He can set up defenders with jab steps and then blow by where he’s a great finisher. He’s got a clean shot and is a sneaky good athlete. Yeh is on track to be one of North Georgia’s best by the time he’s a senior.
2024 6-7 PF Jayce Nathaniel – Lanier
Nathaniel saw minutes throughout Lanier’s battle with Hart County. He rubbed elbows with Tahj Johnson Tahj Johnson 6'7" | SF Hart County | 2023 State GA and held his own when they locked horns in the paint. Nathaniel is a solid rim protector that uses his length and mobility to wipe away shots. The more experience he gets, the better he will become, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
