Salem Baptist Senior Ethan Pegram has proven himself as more than just a player that can shoot the ball from outside. Although he is a tremendous shooter, he’s also has shown his ability to break down defenders, facilitate and compete against high level competition. College coaches that are looking for a sharp shooting PG that can facilitate and defend should give him a call.
Trinity Christian Junior Jamori McDougald Jamori McDougald 6'1" | SG Trinity Christian | 2022 State NC has made a nice jump in production this season, stepping up to be one of the top scorers for TCS. Last season he averaged 7 PPG, this season he’s up to over 17PPG and has been instrumental in helping TCS reach a record of 5-2. The combination of three point shooting and facilitating ability are two areas where he makes a high impact.
Shining Light Academy has struggled early on in the season, starting the year off with a record of 2-5. One of the bright spots for the team has been the play of Junior Guard Will Rhodes. Rhodes is leading the state in scoring at 31 PPG, the lefty doesn’t settle for the outside shot but instead gets to the paint at a solid rate.
Liberty Christian Academy Senior Daymon Beckwith Daymon Beckwith 6'1" | CG Liberty Christian | 2021 State NC is another player that can score the ball at a very high level but gets overlooked due to location. Over the last few years he’s averaged over 20 PPG consistently and is on track to do the same this year. We have seen plenty of talent come out of the Jacksonville, NC area and Beckwith is next in line !
Last but not least is Washington HS Senior Guard Omarion Blount Omarion Blount 6'1" | CG Washington | 2021 State NC , a player that’s currently hold one JC offer but has proven himself against some of the best in East NC. Blount is a strong player that can score the ball at a high level and doesn’t shy away from big time moments. Programs at the D2 level should be keeping a close eye on him as he’s expected to have another big high school season.
