After an action-packed three-game morning slate for Lucky City Pt. 3 in Huntington, NY, Lucky City moves on to the afternoon slate, featuring some of the best athletes from the Lower Hudson Valley, who's season still is on hold, to grassroots teams from the city, where it looks like there may not even be a season. Here, we take a closer look at some players who caught out eye on the second set of games.

[player_tooltip player_id="945521" first="Jayson" last="Mcghee"] | New Rochelle

[player_tooltip player_id="945521" first="Jayson" last="Mcghee"] made his case for MVP of the event as he tallied 35 points. McGhee was creating offense seemingly out of nowhere, sometimes scoring at will from everywhere. McGhee's powerful dribble and smart finish brought him many pairs, as well as a total of 16 free throw shots. McGhee would keep defenders on their toes through his relentless passing attack, tallying 8 assists for him, as well as his perimeter threat, giving him 5 makes.

[player_tooltip player_id="945530" first="Randy" last="Crosby"] | Real Deal

With McGhee on one end, the Real Deal needed someone to step up and match him, and [player_tooltip player_id="945530" first="Randy" last="Crosby"] took that role. While the Real Deal very much had a team win, it was Crosby who was the clear leader ofon the court. Crosby could always be seen looking immediately towards the basket when he had an open lane, and once he had his path, more often than not it would be another two points for the Real Deal.

[player_tooltip player_id="1047682" first="Promise" last="Opurum"] | New Rochelle

Today, [player_tooltip player_id="1047682" first="Promise" last="Opurum"] showcased what really makes him one of the top big men in the state. Opurum commanded the boards on both sides of the court and became a rock in the paint on defense, Making opposing guards and forwards having a tough time shooting anything in the painted area. Opurum was a beast in the post, backing down defenders to get the shot he wanted.

Jalen Sabino | Real Deal

Today at Lucky City, Jalen Sabino was able to dominate all over the court. Sabino had a reasonable impact scoring wise, with him working towards the line and taking interior shots when needed. However, his main value is in his playmaking. He tallied seven assists but his smart passing had a much bigger impact than even that as he found teammates for easy scores.

Rodney Lewis | Lincoln Park

The next game wasn't as offensive focused as New Rochelle vs. The Real Deal, but Rodney Lewis of Lincoln Park still was able to make a strong offensive presence. Lewis was on fire with scoring and playmaking, almost getting a double double with 17 points to go with 8 assists. Lewis set up the majority of his team in a good scoring position, and even had some great offensive plays himself.

[player_tooltip player_id="945523" first="Shawn" last="Fulcher"] | NRNW

Fulcher may not be that tall, but he proves that height isn't as important as people think it is for basketball. Fulcher has been sprinting all over the court in his game against Westchester, with him always finding the open defender and denying him the ball. On offense, Fulcher has been relentless at driving to the rim and frequently gets to the line, while he is able to find his teammates and facilitate for a score.

[player_tooltip player_id="1047657" first="Nick" last="Folk"] | NRNW

Fulcher's teammate both for NRNW and for high school, [player_tooltip player_id="1047657" first="Nick" last="Folk"], has been doing much of the same. Folk too has been consistently pounding the paint and getting up close looks at the basket, which usually result in a make or at least a trip to the foul line. Today, he was NRNW's leading scorer with 25 points. Folk has shown off an improved shot as well, adding another layer to his game.
