Columbus East: vs Bedford North Lawrence 12/11
Tyler Boyer – 6’3 2021 SF: Boyer was probably best player for Columbus East this game. He is a taller, athletic wing that can flat out score at a high level. Rangy and an excellent 3-point shooter off the catch. Can handle the ball but probably is best suited playing off the ball in the long term. Can also slash and drive to the rim well too. Ended with up with 15 points and looked very impressive. Under the radar senior that could play at the next level.
Ben Major– 5’10 2021 PG: – Major is a shorter but true point guard. Made some great reads with the ball and sees the floor extremely well. Really liked how well he would cut to the basket without the ball. Not only does he make the right plays as a point guard should do, he can also score the ball pretty well as was shown from the 15 points he dropped. Tough player that can help a team succeed.
Bedford North Lawrence: vs Columbus East 12/11
Ben Cosner – 6’3 2021 W/F: Cosner only ended with 3 points but man he was a beast on the boards with 9 rebounds. He is good enough to find ways to contribute even when his shots aren’t falling. His defense looked impressive as usual. It was just one of those nights where his shot wasn’t falling but still played like his tough self.
Kooper Staley – 6’2 2021 SG: Staley had his best performance of the season so far. Dropped 26 points and was 6-11 from behind the arc. Staley has had a slow start to the season but the past couple games he has started to find his groove. Confidence in his shot looked at an all-time high last night. The sharp-shooter is coming on and starting to be the elite scorer that Bedford needs.
Jackson Miracle Jackson Miracle 6'5" | SF Bedford North Lawrence | 2021 State IN – 6’5 2021 PF: Miracle had a solid night overall. Started off pretty early in foul trouble but he did end up 7 points and 5 rebounds. Really liked seeing him give BNL some second chance points. If Miracle can continue to be a factor on glass than he will BNL a good advantage throughout the season.
Colten Leach – 6’1 2023 G/F: This was the best I have ever seen Leach play. Started off a little slow in the first half but really took off with his scoring in the second. Got to the basket easily like he usually does and finished a ton better than was he has previously. Just love the way this guy plays especially with the type of motor he has. Finished with 24 points and continues to improve and improve.
