DaShawn Jackson DaShawn Jackson 6'3" | SG Frederick Douglass | 2021 State KY , Frederick Douglass – Jackson is primed for a big Senior season after missing the summer with a bad ankle sprain. DaShawn can score the ball at every level but is at his best as a catch and shoot guard or putting his head down and bullying his way to the rim. Jackson has had some college offers come his way and will be a steal for whatever college lands him.
Javaughn Smith Javaughn Smith 6'1" | SG Bardstown | 2021 State KY , Bardstown – One of the biggest stock boosters of the summer and fall, Smith established himself as an elite level shooter at the Bluegrass Fall League where he seemed to shoot about 60% from three. He still needs to become a better finisher at the rim but Javaughn will be a really good asset to a college this time next year.
Jaz Johnson Jaz Johnson 6'2" | SG Wolfe County | 2021 State KY , Wolfe County – A high academic player who is the favorite for regional player of the year, Johnson has had a multitude of interest from several different college levels. Jaz was a top performer at the Camp One event in October and showed he can be as effective off the bounce as he is as a catch and shoot player.
Connor Robinson Connor Robinson 6'2" | SG Clay County | 2021 State KY , Clay County – Like Jaz, Connor has had a decorated high school career and is going to go down as one of the best players in Clay County history. Robinson is a very smart player with a high IQ that can play on the ball or off but is among the best in the mountains as a catch and shoot player or even playing the high post of a zone offense where he can make the smart play.
Anthony Bowen Anthony Bowen 6'4" | SG John Hardin | 2021 State KY , John Hardin – Anthony could be the best prospect on this list but he’s predominantly unknown in Kentucky for now. After transferring from Oklahoma to Kentucky, Bowen had a very short high school season and then missed most of summer AAU thanks to Covid-19. Anthony has great size and plays with a chip on his shoulder but has to become a more consistent outside shooter to reach his potential in his Senior season.
Tredyn Thomas Tredyn Thomas 6'2" | SG Pendleton County | 2021 State KY , Pendleton County – Thomas had a really big Junior season and could be a really good small school player at the next level but he is already getting attention and offers for his play on the football field as well. Looking ahead to his Senior year, if Tredyn can push Pendleton to the top 5 or so in the 10th region, he’ll be in the mix for regional player of the year.
