Here were some of the junior standouts of the three games:
Langston Reynolds Langston Reynolds 6'4" | CG Colorado Prep | 2022 State #172 Nation CO Colorado Prep
-The #1 rated junior in Colorado backed it up. He is a true combo guard that is a talented lefty. He can hit the 3 off the catch and get into the lane using his length and thicker build. He goes right often even though he is left handed and can flush it down in traffic. He is a good rebounder and a way better passer then I thought he would be.
Benny Gealer Benny Gealer 6'1" | PG Rolling Hills Prep | 2022 State CA-S Rangers Academy/CA
-Arguably the top natural shooter on the West Coast for his age group, which is saying a lot. He has a pure stroke from the 3pt line and is way more athletic then you would think. He can pull-up off the dribble from mid-range and is sneaky quick to get passed his defender. His passing ability and feel for the game are very good.
Otto Landrum Otto Landrum 6'8" | PF Torrey Pines | 2022 State CA-S Veritas Prep/CA (Pictured)
-A high motored forward was one of the top rebounders for the day. He corralled 13 rebounds and did it in style. He got on the offensive glass and consistently kept plays alive, which was the main reason they won the game. He sealed his man on offense and scored with polished post moves and one really nice double move hook shot.
Milos Uzan PG 6’3 Prolific Prep/CA
-One of the more pure PG’s on the West Coast. He had 12 assists in the win and he was the catalyst of the offense spaying the ball around to open shooters, high-flying lob dunks and cutters. He also scored it from all 3 levels from deep, dunking the ball and pull-ups. He uses a tough in and out dribble to free himself often.
Jordan Pope Jordan Pope 6'1" | PG Prolific Prep | 2022 State #194 Nation CA-N Prolific Prep/CA
-One of the top scoring lead guards is a tough two-way player. He will pick you up the full length of the court then break your heart when his pull-up is clicking along with his deep ball. He is a good passer himself and he has arguably been the steadiest performer on the stacked team from NorCal during the Grind Session.
Adem Bona PF 6’9 Prolific Prep/CA
-The big chiseled framed post player is a load to handle. He runs the floor fluidly and he has maybe one offensive rebound tip dunk in traffic per game that wows the small crowds. He can face-up occasionally but does his best work inside. He uses his length and bounce to score, rebound and block shots.
