A closer look at the top games to watch around the state of Wisconsin on Friday…

Two teams that could potentially surprise this season, both open their 2020-21 campaigns on Friday.

Trying to put together a new roster, Kingdom Prep has a number of ranked players on its squad. Dino Cook Dino Cook 6'4" | SF Kingdom Prep | 2023 State WI Qi’andre Washington Qi’andre Washington 6'1" | CG Kingdom Prep | 2023 State WI , and Malik Grandberry are some of the many young, but talented players in the lineup.

Oak Creek was just 10-12 last season, but their duo of Jasin Sinani Jasin Sinani 6'3" | SG Oak Creek | 2021 State WI , a UW-Milwaukee commit and the fastest-rising senior in the state, and  Kael Stulo Kael Stulo 6'1" | CG Oak Creek | 2021 State WI are both back for their senior seasons.


Wrightstown (1-0) at Freedom (1-0)

Good individual matchup here between stretch wings Sam Haese Sam Haese 6'3" | SF Wrightstown | 2021 State WI of Wrightstown and Landon Van Calster Landon Van Calster 6'6" | SF Freedom | 2022 State WI of Freedom in a game that could have big consequences in the North Eastern Conference title race.  Freedom thumped Clintonville 66-33 in their season opener. Meanwhile, Wrightstown survived a scare from Brillion on Tuesday.
