Bennett Stirtz 6’5 Liberty: An impressive wing who has really emerged in the first two weeks; averaging 20 points a game while providing a calm, steady influence on the court. Nothing really fazes him out there. He has good skill level with the ball, but he can also operate without the ball with his moving and cutting. He already has a Division II offer from William Jewell.
Elijah Whitley 6’2 Parkview: The bouncy wing had a tremendous week at the Republic Tournament. He is strong enough to work out in the post against smaller guards and he was consistent from 3-point range, knocking down six of them in the championship game against Republic. He also threw down some impressive dunks.
I’Ryan Allen I’Ryan Allen 6'2" | PG Ruskin | 2022 State MO 6’2 Raymore-Peculiar: The talented point guard has immediately taken to his new role of go-to guy at Ray-Pec. He scored 29 points and hit a runner in the closing seconds of a one-point victory at Ruskin. He followed that up with 30 points against host Carthage in the first round of their tournament. He’s a smooth 3-point shooter who can create his own shot.
Quinn Kusgen Quinn Kusgen 6'1" | SG Blair Oaks | 2022 State MO 6’2 Blair Oaks: Quinn was an offensive force at the Tri-County Tournament as the Falcons coasted to the championship. He scored 34 in the championship game. He can get buckets at three levels. His deep ball is good and he can pull up for the mid range jumper and score on twisting drives in the lane.
Always Wright Always Wright 6'2" | SG Joplin | 2022 State MO 6’3 Joplin: The young man with the unique name and the potent offensive game. As the lone returning starter, he has taken up a big scoring load and he’s been up to the challenge. He’s been putting up high 20s with his sweet stroke from 3-point range and ability score off the dribble.
Trayvon Thomas 6’2 Hayti: A long, athletic wing who can really score. He has a quick first step to get to the basket or to stop for the pull up. He can also create his own offense off the dribble. He’s capable of carrying the offense for lengthy stretches. He had a 20-point half in the championship game of the Gideon Tournament.
