Class 5A – Region 6 – SENIORS

Class 5A - Region 6 consist of all Grand Strand area teams with the exception of Sumter HS. Lets take a look at the SENIORS from this region right here on your source for basketball coverage in the Palmetto State.  Predictions:  Sumter HS - The Gamecocks have a lot of bodies to throw out on the floor for Head Coach Bryan Brown. Carolina Forest HS - The Panthers look to have a solid senior class in order to make a run this season.  St James HS - The Sharks will surprise some teams on given nights. Greene is a zone buster for the Panthers with his ability to knockdown shots. Herrin has range out to the perimeter or has the ability to attack the rim. Herrin has the Braves going in the right direction here early into the season. Lane recorded 35 receptions this season on the football as a wideout.  Alphonso Ortiz-RoblesAlphonsoOrtiz-Robles5'10" | SGSt James | 2021SC - St James HS (Murrells Inlet)  Ortiz-Robles a left-handed guard has a bit of a old school game with a set shot. Ortiz-Robles 5’10 has a nice shooting stroke when he’s on.  Dillon HaireDillonHaire6'0" | SGSt James | 2021SC - St James HS (Murrells Inlet)  Haire is best suited off the ball for the Sharks. Haire will pop off screens and use the head fake a lot to advance to the basket.
