In this series we’ll provide evaluations on the best available prospects in their final season of high school competition.
Barry Wilds Barry Wilds 5'11" | CG Fairfax | 2021 State CA-S , Fairfax – Lightning quick guard end-to-end who is best when scoring in transition and putting pressure on the defense on the break. Has the ability to change direction to avoid defenders without losing speed or balance. Great on-ball defender whose quick hands and feet make life difficult for ball handlers. Excels in full-court pressure situations. As a small guard, must improve perimeter shooting.
Thomas Notarainni Thomas Notarainni 6'3" | SF Cathedral Catholic | 2021 State CA-S , Cathedral Catholic – Strong, physical multi-level scorer with a solid frame. Knockdown type shooter from three-point range off the catch and capable of setting up a defender with a shot fake and one-dribble side step shot. Uses his strong frame to absorb and finish through contact around the basket. More of a power wing than an explosive one who fills the lane nicely and attacks the basket aggressively to draw fouls and get to the free throw line.
Remington Rofer Remington Rofer 6'8" | PF Loyola | 2021 State CA-S , Loyola – Skilled and high-energy forward who can score on the block with either hand or stretch the floor out to 17-feet. Active rim-runner in transition with good hands and interior footwork. Competes well on the offensive and defensive glass and pursues missed shots both in and out of his area. Good post defensive instincts and has the ability to play a physical inside role.
Brendan Terry Brendan Terry 6'6" | PF Crossroads | 2021 State CA-S , Crossroads – Strong, athletic, and high motor four-man with great pop in his legs, ability to get out and score in transition and absorb and finish through contact. Continuing to show flashes of being a guy with inside-out scoring potential. High character kid who could turn into a multi-positional defender at the next level due to his strong frame and good lateral athleticism.
