In this series we’ll provide evaluations on the best available prospects in their final season of high school competition.
Christian Johnson Christian Johnson 6'0" | PG Lynwood | 2021 State CA-S , Lynwood – Steady and high IQ scoring point guard whose best when pulling up on the perimeter off the bounce. Smart, active and high energy defender. Doesn’t get sped up when handling under pressure. The 6-footer is willing to take and make shots with the game on the line.
Donjae Lindsey Donjae Lindsey 6'2" | CG Weston Ranch | 2021 State CA-N , Weston Ranch – Quick twitch athlete at the point guard position. Most effective when getting downhill in transition and into the paint where he can finish through and around contact. Great feel when knifing through the defense in the open floor and surveying the court. Pesky defender who speeds up ball handlers and forces turnovers.
Lendl Henderson, Jr., Bakersfield Christian – Big, physical wing with shot making and shot creating ability on the perimeter. Has ideal size, length and look for a next-level wing prospect. Well-built 6-foot-6 frame allows him to get into the paint as he pleases and finish through contact.
Nigel Burris, Archbishop Mitty – Long, wiry, high motor wing/forward who plays with great energy on both ends of the floor. More of an off-ball slasher and finisher offensively at this point in his development. Gets off the floor quickly for first and second jumps and works hard on the offensive glass. Can rebound the defensive glass and lead the break. Moves well without the ball and finds gaps and weak spots in the defense
