As expected, the 2020-21 season has gotten off to a great start with lots of tough competition and close games. In eastern Idaho, there were a lot of tough matchups between cross-town rivals and players that have been waiting for a long time to be able to play basketball again. In northern Idaho, teams had to get creative and there were a lot of matchups featuring teams from vastly different classifications squaring up and attempting to secure the first win of the season. After watching a few of these games, I wanted to highlight some of the top scoring performances on display in the first week of competition.

In the east, Lloyer Driggs took no time at all to get going. He posted a great stat line while securing a win for Thunder Ridge with 24 points and knocking down 4 out of 5 three pointers on the night. Additionally, Taden KingTadenKing6'4" | PGMadison | 2021StateID from Madison displayed a barrage of bombs from deep en route to a 22 point performance in a tough loss to Hillcrest.
