Enderlin (2-1) at Dickinson Trinity (4-0)
Enderlin is #1 and Dickinson Trinity is #4 in our Power Rankings. I am expecting a high scoring game that is played at a frenetic pace. Both the Eagles and Titans can put up big points. I am interested in seeing which team steps up defensively. The Eagles have stud brothers

(22.3 ppg, 17.3 rpg) who lead the team in scoring. Enderlin has plenty of other shooters and athletes to go along with the big brothers. The Titans have Cole Fitterer, Jake Daniel, and Tanner Soehren who lead the charge for Trinity. This is an experienced, tough, and talented Titans team. Enderlin has the size advantage, but Trinity has a deeper bench. Dickinson has a slight advantage since they are playing at home and Enderlin must travel almost 4 hours on the bus to play this game. Which team will come out on top? Check this one out on Monday to find out!
Rugby (3-1) at Beulah (2-1)
Rugby and Beulah are both ranked in the top ten of our Power Rankings. These two squads have their sights set on the State Tournament. They are skilled offensively and are full of athletes. The Panthers have four outstanding players that they lean heavily on. Cole Slaubaugh,

, Trey Welstad, and Warren Walker are the main horses for Rugby. These four will do almost all the scoring and rebounding for Rugby. They only go two deep into their bench for subbing. Defensively I am expecting mainly half-court man with the potential for some 1-3-1 sprinkled in. Beulah’s lead guard is

(24 ppg). He is accompanied by Dawson Zuroff, Nathan Battest, and Trapper Skalsky who are all athletic skilled guards. Beulah is a very unselfish team that shares the ball as well as any team in North Dakota. The Miner’s team defense is impressive because of their help side and communication. On defense, I am expecting Beulah to crank up the pressure in hopes of turning the Panthers over and disrupting their timing. I am expecting a close game throughout, with the winner being decided by a few possessions late. This is going to be a good one!

Enderlin (2-1) at Beulah (2-1)
These are two talented teams who are both ranked in the top 5 of our Power Rankings. This game between the Eagles and the Miners will feature 3 of the best juniors in ND.

(15 ppg) lead the way for the Eagles who are long and athletic. Enderlin is the favorite to make the State Tournament out of Region 1. The Eagles are playing the toughest non-region schedule in the state and will be tested early in the season. They took a loss on Monday against a great Four Winds team. The Miners are led by all-state junior

(24 ppg). Beulah cannot match Enderlin’s size, but they do have 3 very talented guards alongside Brandt. I am expecting both teams to play half-court man and to mix in some half-court zone to help offset some of the mismatches. Expect many 3-pointers to be taken early and often. Both teams are good in transition as well. If you like watching offense do not miss this game on Tuesday.
Four Winds/Minnewauken (2-0) at Dickinson Trinity (4-0)
Another game between top 5 ranked teams in our Power Rankings. This game will be fast-paced and high scoring. Four Winds is led by

. The Indians are deep with talented athletes. They never stop coming at you defensively. When they get a turnover, they score quickly and amp up the pressure even more than the previous possession. Four Winds has size, great guards, shooters, and depth. The only team that may be able to match them is Dickinson Trinity. The Titans are led by Cole Fitterer, Jake Daniel, and Tanner Soehren. In their big victory over Shiloh Christian, Daniel had 24 points and Soehren had 18 points. Like Four Winds, Dickinson Trinity is deep who plays nine players. They are a physical and disciplined team; this should help alleviate some of Four Winds pressure. I am expecting the Titans to play half-court man and to mix in some half-court traps. This is going to be a fun game, as a hoop enthusiast, I recommend that you do not miss this game!
Jamestown (2-0) at Minot (4-0)
Our Power Rankings this week have Jamestown as #1 and Minot as #4. This game will be a battle of two amazing guards. The Blue Jays have

(26 ppg). Both guys are All-State caliber players who could very well be in the running for Mr. Basketball. They are great basketball players but even better leaders. Jamestown and Minot play some of the better man-to-man defense in the WDA. Minot could mix in a bit of 2-3 zone. These are two of the best programs in the State of ND and it will be a great game to watch and enjoy. They are both solid defensively, disciplined, unselfish, and skilled offensively. We are in for a good one up in the Magic City!

Jamestown (2-0) at Bismarck (3-1)
We have the #1 Blue Jays vs. the #6 Demons. This will be another steller matchup in the EDC. Both teams can really shoot the ball and fill it up from outside. Jamestown has

I am expecting fireworks in this game. How each team matches up and what they try to take away from each other will be interesting. Check this game out at 2:00 before you get busy with your New Year’s Eve plans!

Bismarck Century @ Jamestown
For the last top game of the week, we have the #3 Patriots vs #1 Blue Jays. Century has not been tested for an entire game yet this year. They have 3 blowout wins so far. Jamestown will be battle-tested coming into this game with games vs. Bismarck and Minot earlier in the week. This game will be Century’s only game of the week, so they should be well-rested. For their sake, let us hope they are not rusty. The Patriots have 5 guys scoring double figures with
