Beach Ball Classic: Winter Jam

Prep Hoops was back in the gym on Sunday at the Beach Ball Classic Winter Jam which consist of 8 programs throughout the country. This first year event attracted programs as far as  Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Utah and Virginia to name just a few. Lets take a look at the results from Day 1 here at the Winter Jam which was being played at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.  Winston Salem Christian (NC) 49  Blue Magic (VA) 48  Brandon White Brandon White 6'10" | PF Winston-Salem Christian | 2022 State NC scored just one bucket in the game and it came at the buzzer for Winston Salem Christian to prevail in the opening round of the Beach Ball Winter Jam. Quante Berry Quante Berry 6'4" | PG Winston-Salem Christian | 2022 State #131 Nation NC led the way for the Lions (9-4) with 17 points. Christ Essandoko Christ Essandoko 6'10" | C Winston-Salem Christian | 2022 State NC added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks in the victory.  Caleb Kenney Jason Nelson Jason Nelson 5'8" | PG John Marshall | 2021 State VA a Richmond signee led the way for Blue Magic with 13 points. JJ Harris scored a quiet 15 points from the guard position today.
