Baron Classic – Friday Results

Prep Hoops took the drive inland to Sumter on Friday to attend the Baron Classic at Wilson Hall Academy. The event features 8 SCISA programs in the 2 day event.  Carolina Academy defeated Orangeburg Prep Carolina Academy Bobcats were playing with just 6 players here today. The Bobcats led from start to finish in this game over the Indians.  Mikey Templeton Mikey Templeton 6'3" | SF Orangeburg Prep | 2022 State SC led the Indians in defeat with 15 points.  Laurence Manning Academy defeated Lee Academy (Bishopville)  The Swamp Cats picked up a win over the Cavaliers and were led in scoring by Jaden Sanders Jaden Sanders 6'1" | SG Laurence Manning | 2022 State SC with 16 points. Aaron Medley Aaron Medley 6'2" | PG Laurence Manning | 2022 State SC finished the game with 12 points in the win. Sam Graham Sam Graham 6'2" | SG Pinewood Prep | 2022 State SC came up big in the 2nd half with some big three pointers on his way to 10 points. Nashon Hudson and Tariq Shabazz Tariq Shabazz 5'9" | PG Pinewood Prep | 2022 State SC both finished with 9 points. Center Lance Saulisbury Lance Saulisbury 6'10" | C Pinewood Prep | 2021 State SC finished with 5 points and 6 blocks in the game.  Jon David Gardner Jon David Gardner 6'2" | SG Heathwood Hall | 2023 State SC kept the Highlanders in the game with his 14 points. Teammate Daniel Smith added 12 points in the loss.  Wilson Hall 66 vs Thomas Sumter 24 The Barons led from start to finish here in the nightcap. The Barons cruised to a 38-11 halftime lead. The Barons were led in scoring by Evan Hoffman with 12 points, Zuri Anderson and Miller Jones both chipped in with 11 points.
