I didn’t stay long due to COVID-19 but I watched a few games on BallerTV plus I watched 4 teams live as well.
Some talented teams came from WA, NM, CO, CA, NV and a couple local AZ teams.
Here were some of the sophomore standouts I viewed:
Sebastian Mack Sebastian Mack 6'4" | CG Coronado | 2023 State #58 Nation NV Durango/NV (Purple Reign)
-A big time shooter who makes it look easy in stretches. He has a pure stroke with real range and one of the faster triggers out there. He also has good speed with the ball in his hands and can get downhill and take a bump and score through the contact. He has gained a lot of muscle since his freshman year.
Sterling Knox Durango/NV (Purple Reign) (Pictured)
-A long wing who can shoot it from the 3pt line. He can post up a little and put the ball on the floor some to score as well. He is currently best off the catch. He rebounds well in his area and can defend multiple positions with good length.
Tommy Brascia Tommy Brascia 6'8" | PF Durango | 2023 State NV Durango/NV (Purple Reign)
-A burly forward who has bounce and toughness. He is a natural shot blocker who times his opponents for the swat. He can score it some inside but his energy, defense and activity will help his team.
Tylen Riley Tylen Riley 6'2" | CG Durango | 2023 State NV Durango/NV (Purple Reign)
-A quick combo guard defends well and has some jets. He changes speeds well and can use a burst to get into the lane. His ability to find teammates and defend makes him a perfect player off the bench.
Gavin Marrs Gavin Marrs 6'11" | PF Ellensburg | 2023 State WA Ellensburg/WA (Friends of Hoop Seattle)
-A fluid post runs the floor well. He has good size and length and plays with good energy, He challenges shots near the rim for blocks and rebounds well. He has a nice looking hook shot and he can rip through and score it. He is a sneaky good passer out of the post and shows upside with good height and length.
Kelson Gebbers Kelson Gebbers 6'6" | SF Brewster | 2023 State WA Brewster/WA (Friends of Hoop Seattle)
-A fluid forward who can shoot it comfortably from the 3pt line. He can pull-up off the dribble and has a good handle for position plus can rip through to score. He rebounds well in area and finds a way to the FT line from driving it to grabbing offensive rebounds.
