6’3 G/W Myron Amey of Scotland Prep (PA)/ Team Rampage 2021
Amey was one of the top performers at the event radar or no radar. He proved he is a legit D-1 prospect. He’s a real athletic guard/wing with nice burst who excels in transition pulling up. He is a good shooter with DEEP range. Amey has solid ball handling and passing skills and is consistently able to break down defenders and get to the basket on the drive. And he moves well without the ball. He is a difficult matchup to say the least and presents many problems for the opposing defense. College coaches need to get on him…
6’4 G/W Nathan Hasberry of Cleveland HS (NM)/ Nike Team Swoosh 2021
Hasberry was a nice “discovery” from the Land of Enchantment who put himself onto the radar with his play in this event. He’s a very bouncy and athletic guard/wing with long arms who is a versatile all-around scorer. His shot looks a little funny, but he can knock them down. And he has an impressive mid-range pull-up game. Hasberry finishes really well, both in transition and in the half-court. He uses his athleticism very well to get to the hoop on a consistent basis.
6’6 SF Andrew Hommes of Lynden Christian HS/ Friends of Hoops 2022
Hommes is a player who would be firmly on the radar in normal times (with normal observation/evaluation). He belongs there for sure. He is a fairly athletic wing with a nice skill set. He handles it confidently and is a good passer as well. He can shoot it fairly well with 3 range and gets to the basket on the drive. Hommes is a very solid and consistent rebounder and a willing defender. He’s a definite Division I prospect. Time will tell what level he ends up at.
6’3 SG Tyler Isaak of San Ramon Valley HS (CA)/Team GRR 2021
It is always encouraging when you see a tough-minded competitor with some ability. Such is the case with Tyler Isaak. He’s an aggressive two-guard who makes a lot of things happen for himself and his teammates. He has a nice skill set offensively and he plays in attack mode the whole way. His motor is always running and he is NOT a fun guy to play against. Isaak is going to make some college coach happy. His approach is exactly what any coach would want.
5’8 PG Donovan Watkins of Centennial HS/ So Cal Prime 2021
Watkins is a very energetic one-man who is very athletic. He has excellent burst and quickness and can really turn on the jets. He pushes the breaks on every possession and plays in an attack mode at a very fast pace. He finishes well and has a solid hesitation move on the drive. Watkins also shoots it well with 3-points range and he has a very nice floater. Don’t sleep on him because of his lack of size. He plays real big…
