Some young guys have really made impacts on the varsity level so far in this crazy wacky season. Some knew they would need to step up and play big roles for their teams while some have burst onto the scene.
Below is a list of prospects whose impacts have surely been felt for their respective squads.
Izzy MilesIzzyMiles6'0" | CGGrissom | 2023StateAL, 6’0 CG, Grissom: A great compliment to fellow backcourt sophomore running mate RJ JohnsonRJJohnson6'3" | PGGrissom | 2023State#113NationAL. At times through the season, he has shown he is much more than a sidekick with his ability to take over and run the team when his moment comes. He should only get better as he plays in more games that matter and gains confidence in his ability on the floor.
Tyler MalloryTylerMallory5'11" | CGGreenville | 2023StateAL, 5’11 PG, Greenville: This kid has really burst onto the scene after a successful summer run with Crimson Kings. However, since the school season has started he has shown he is more than capable of playing at a very high level. Leading his Tigers team in scoring so far this season with several big scoring outings against some of the best players

However, since the school season has started he has shown he is more than capable of playing at a very high level. Leading his Tigers team in scoring so far this season with several big scoring outings against some of the best players in the state in any class. Don't let his size fool you because once his size catches up with his game he will be a real problem.
Cody Baerlocher
CodyBaerlocher6'5" | SGMadison Academy | 2023StateAL, 6’6 SG, Madison Academy: The size at the position is what stands out the most for this budding prospect. His ability to shoot the ball off the dribble or catch is high level. He is an improving athlete that will only get better as he continues to focus on it. With his play so far this season expect him to skyrocket up the rankings when they drop in the top of next year.
Keyon BurnsKeyonBurns6'3" | SFCentral | 2023StateAL, 6’3 SF, Central: A good looking young wing player who already plays above the rim. One of the staples at the up and coming TriCity Elite AAU program he should be one who takes that program to the next level. He is a key contributor on a Central team that has several good guards and wings. His ability to handle and defend at his size and age will only increase which will have him one of the more talked about prospects in the entire class.
Fletcher BoatrightFletcherBoatright6'4" | SFNorthridge | 2023StateAL, 6’5 SF, Northridge: A key contributor for a pretty good Northridge squad. He has a great stroke and size at this early stage and has really improved at running in the open floor. His ability to catch and shoot with range is deadly and will only improve over the years. As he continues to mature I expect to see his lateral movement and athletic ability improve and if he continues to grow he is going to be a name to know at the wing position.
