The event took place December 12th and 13th at Inspire Courts in Gilbert/Chandler, AZ. Teams from all over the nation participated. Here is a recap of the 2023 standout players I watched.
Marquis Mookie Cook Wing 6’6 Wing (Rose City Ballers): An electrifying wing who can get it done at all levels. Solid rebounder and can find other players in transition. Finishes very well around the basket. His IQ is off the charts and tons of big Division 1 schools are looking at landing this all star wing.
Andrew Meadows 6’7 CF (J3U): High energy fast paced athletic CF who can shoot from pretty much anywhere on the court. What’s impressive about Meadows is how fast he is which allows him to get a ton of rebounds.
Adrian Mosely 6’0 Wing (PDX Elite): Extremely athletic wing who blocks the ball well and manages to use his high IQ to box out and get rebounds on the offensive glass. He has long arms which he uses well. A good defender and crafty with his fast hands. Mosely has a major upside.
Marcus Adams 6’6 Wing (Team NQB): A rim bully who knows how to use his body very well. I saw him finish around the rim with ease and he has a very solid post game. Adams also showed that he can put the ball on the floor and force his way to the rim. Adams also can shoot the three ball which make him an all around menace.
Exodus Ayers Exodus Ayers 6'2" | CG La Cueva | 2023 NLG 6’0 CG (JB White Elite) A high energy combo guard who can score efficiently. Can move with ball very well and is crafty on how he can create space for himself.
Keenen Bey 6’6 Wing ( Las Vegas Elie JV): This kid is an all natural athlete. He has a good size and can move the floor well. I watched him do a nasty spin moves with a solid finish on multiple occasions. Bey has a very solid upside and is going to be a threat to anyone he plays. This 16U Las Vegas Elite team is the real deal and Bey just another huge asset to such a loaded team.
