Connor Millikan Connor Millikan 6'1" | CG Platteview | 2023 State NE
The Class of 2023 Platteview (Springfield) standout leads the way in scoring averaging 27.8 points. After 71 field goals attempts, Connor is shooting 55%. From the three-point range, he is deadlocked at 50%, and at the free-throw line, Millikan needs to improve his 67% average. Last year as a freshman, he proved he was apart of Nebraska’s elite scorers, and this year as a sophomore he has lived up to the hype. Connor is a six-foot combo guard that has a quick release on his jump shot, comes off a pick ready to shoot, and plays aggressive agitating defense. He is also able to finish in traffic and use his dribbling to create space. With this season and two more ahead, Connor has created an opportunity to make it to the division one level and transition over very well.
Marcus Shakeer Marcus Shakeer 6'3" | SG Omaha Benson | 2021 State NE
Marcus is a very exciting player to observe. He averages 26.0 points per game and shoots 54% from the field. Shakeer is extremely athletic and possesses the ability to score in bunches. Whether it’s a jump-shot or catching a lob, Marcus will get the job done time after time. He is currently 46% from three-point range and shooting 83% from the free-throw line. Shakeer has also made the Preseason All-State 1st Team alongside 4 other major/mid-major college recruits. His future is extremely bright.
Oakley Rosno Oakley Rosno 5'7" | PG Silver Lake | 2022 State NE
5’7″ | PG | Silver Lake | 2022 | Grassroots Team: N/A
Also averaging 26.0 points per game, Oakley is a solid point guard off to a great start for his junior season. He is shooting 50% from the field and 41% from behind the arc. He has solid ball-handling, amazing court vision, and a sweet jump-shot. Currently ranked the 54th player in the state of Nebraska, if Rosno remains to be solid he can increase his stock and find himself playing for a reputable collegiate program. Oakley is a three-sport athlete so that makes him very well-rounded and tough-nosed. Look for Rosno to keep climbing the charts.
Aidan Hedstrom Aidan Hedstrom 6'4" | SF St. Mary’s | 2022 State NE
Aidan averages 25.8 points per contest while shooting an amazing 64% from the field. The Saint Mary’s star has already had a recent 35 point performance. Hedstrom is a 6’4” small forward that can shoot from deep, finish in transition, and play above the rim. With his senior year still ahead of him, he has time to continue to get stronger and expand his skill set. Hedstrom is ranked 30th in his class. If he continues the path he is on, his stock will rise.
Dane Storer
6’2″ | Guard | Paxton High School | 2021 | Grassroots Team: N/A
Dane is fifth in scoring in the state of Nebraska. He averages 25.3 points per game, shooting roughly 40% from the field. Storer is an excellent all-around player that thrives when pressure is present. Dane doesn’t let a missed shot discourage him from being confident, he shows charisma continuously. He has an excellent release on his jump shot, solid fundamental ball-handling, great court vision. Storer has excellent leadership skills on and off the court, which makes coaching him a pleasure. If his streak continues, numerous scholarships will be in his future.
