Jonah Rindfleisch – 2021 – Wisconsin Lutheran: An impressive debut featured heavy scoring and rebounding. He’s a two-way big that can score as the number one or two option. Defensively he’s elite. He stuffed a layup attempt in the second half, and he gobbled up rebounds all game due to smart positioning and length.
Danilo Jovanovich Danilo Jovanovich 6'6" | PF Whitnall | 2022 State WI – 2022 – Whitnall: He scored in phases in his first game, having some quiet moments. But when he was on, he looked like a top-five player in his class. Clearly an improved jump shooter and still dominant down low. If you look closer, though, it’s his footwork and pivoting that allow him to excel on the block and in isolation. Finished with 28 points.
Ethan Thomas Ethan Thomas 6'7" | PF Whitnall | 2023 State WI – 2023 – Whitnall: Superb size and frame for such a young kid. In my first detailed look at Thomas, I was impressed by his strength. He demonstrated that with a rim-shaking dunk and two and-one finishes.
Jeremy Lorenz Jeremy Lorenz 6'8" | PF Brillion | 2023 State WI – Brillion – 2023: A legitimate prospect in the making. The 6’7” Lorenz put up 33 points against a solid Wrightstown team. His frame is made for the college floor, and with a pretty jumper and solid foundation, he’s only going to turn heads as his career progresses.
Donovan Short Donovan Short 6'9" | PF Denmark | 2022 State WI – Denmark – 2022: Always a fan of Short’s playstyle. He played a lot of post on the EYBL Circuit, and his honed inside game stole the show. Looking (much) taller than last year, he thrust his body into anyone that picked him up. He favors the baseline drive and featured a one-hand touch shot when he was a step or two from the rim. Also, he’s developed into a shooter off the dribble.
