– Power Forward – Irving MacArthur
First Team All-District forward, Kenny Hardy Kenny Hardy 6'6" | PF Irving MacArthur | 2021 State TX came into the game off the bench and instantly found a way to be effective on the defensive end of the floor, protecting the rim and rejecting any shot in his vicinity, while showing off some impressive leaping abilities, timing, and anticipation down low. Hardy picked up some questionable foul calls when blocking a few shots away, but what stood out most was his ability to always get his entire hand on the ball before swatting it away. He’s such a productive player, someone who can get a lot done on the court in a limited amount of time. Kenny Hardy Kenny Hardy 6'6" | PF Irving MacArthur | 2021 State TX may be a bit undersized at his position but he makes up for it by being a very talented finisher in the post with the strength to matchup with anyone.

– Shooting Guard – Irving MacArthur
After starting the game by scoring off a pick-and-roll from CJ Booker CJ Booker 5'8" | PG Arlington Seguin | 2022 State TX for a layup, Marcus went back down to the defensive end, jumped a pass, went on a fast break by himself, and threw down a single-handed tomahawk dunk. A play or two later Rigsby got out in transition again after a steal from B.J. Hooper B.J. Hooper 6'2" | CG Prosper Rock Hill | 2023 State TX , leading to another fast break for him, this one he finished with a two-handed slam. Rigsby’s actions out there resulted in him scoring the first three buckets to start the game for the Cardinals. He also showed unselfishness by being willing to make the extra pass and give up a good shot for a great shot. On the defensive side of the ball, he hustled hard, going after chase down blocks, getting steals in the passing lane, and going inside after rebounds. The game looks like it comes easy to Marcus Rigsby Marcus Rigsby 6'2" | SG Irving MacArthur | 2021 State TX , he’s so smooth, calm, and collected, it seems like he barely breaks a sweat.

– Point Guard – Duncanville
Highly regarded, top 25 Texas prospect, Zhuric Phelps Zhuric Phelps 6'3" | PG Duncanville | 2021 State TX doesn’t go a game without making his presence felt one way or another. When Phelps jump shot didn’t fall against Mesquite Horn, he took his man off the dribble where he couldn’t be stopped from getting to the basket where he’s going to score every time. After watching Phelps play on multiple occasions this past summer one thing I realized was that once he gets it going there’s no stopping him or slowing him down, and in this game there was no exception, once his pull up jumper started to fall, the game started to get out of hand. Zhuric Phelps Zhuric Phelps 6'3" | PG Duncanville | 2021 State TX is known for being a high-level ballplayer that can contribute in an abundance of ways.

– Shooting Guard/Small Forward – Denton Guyer
Brayden Bradshaw Brayden Bradshaw 6'5" | SF Denton Guyer | 2021 State TX is the glue-guy for Denton Guyer, he was one of the most important players on the floor against Lakeview Centennial. He showed that he understands his teammates and their game very well, Bradshaw knew what to do and where to be whenever his teammates had the ball. Whenever Brayden had the ball, his dribble penetration couldn’t be stopped, he showed and proved to be strong enough to make tough shots through physicality, converting a few extremely difficult layups over multiple defenders late in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory for Guyer. Bradshaw absolutely handled business on the offensive glass and in the post, he made a lot of effort plays and cleaned up several shots for his teammates on the boards, which created plenty of second-chance opportunities. Brayden Bradshaw Brayden Bradshaw 6'5" | SF Denton Guyer | 2021 State TX has a good upside, he has the ultimate motor, he’s somebody that must be on the floor at all times just because he’s productive.
