Highland Park 67 vs Lewisville 65
Adrian Banks – Shooting Guard – Lewisville – 2023
This Sophomore guard looked like a true 3-and-D player out there. Super impressive help-side defender, Adrian showed a knack for sliding over from one block to another taking charges, causing turnovers, and forcing bad shots. Banks is a tough ballplayer who’s more than willing to sacrifice his body for the betterment of his team, often being the first or second player to the floor for loose balls. He played with a refuse to lose mentality in the fourth quarter as he attacked the basket and hit shots from another area code even with the defense in his face, displaying sharpshooting capabilities off the pull-up and catch-and-shoot from 3-point range. His release is quick, his form is nice, and the ball snapped the net every time it went in. The potential for Adrian Banks is through the roof, he has the chance to become a dynamic force of nature on the court by his senior season.
Tre’Lin Green – Point Guard – Lewisville – 2023
Tre’Lin Green is one of the peskiest and grittiest defenders I’ve seen in his class. He sticks to his man like white on rice with impressively stifling defense. Green picked his man up and applied pressure the full length of the court from the first play to the last. Tre’Lin hassled his man the moment they touched the ball, he showed a phenomenal ability to pickpocket most ball-handlers by swiping or snatching away the ball, and he did it all without getting into foul trouble.
Irving MacArthur 77 vs Woodrow Wilson 57
Myles Rigsby – Small Forward – Irving MacArthur – 2023
Irving MacArthur forward, Myles Rigsby is a well-rounded individual that doesn’t care about the highlight play, he always looks to make the right play. A truly tremendous defender with all-around intangibles and instincts, Rigsby used his length well and played with great discipline, knowing exactly when and when not to gamble. Myles’s effort was great as well, making several hard-fought hustle plays. He’s a versatile defender, his ability to guard multiple positions effectively was stood out. Myles Rigsby is a positionless player who can be and do whatever is asked of him, just a pure basketball player that is effective in many ways, one of those guys that contributes all across the board and does the things that are conducive to winning games.
Duncanville 80 vs Mesquite Horn 56

CJ Ford CJ Ford 6'0" | PG Duncanville | 2022 State TX is one of the best defensive point guards in the entire state from the class of 2022. A true lockdown defender that can shut down just about anybody you place in front of him. CJ gave no breathing room and played with fantastic anticipation and footspeed, he wasn’t phased by fancy ball-handlers, Ford showed the discipline to stay stagnant and not get out of character. The Duncanville point guard had a great effect on the game, causing turnovers at a high rate by getting on-ball steals, jumping passing lanes, and forcing bad shots and passes. It’s never going to be an easy game when you’re facing off against CJ Ford CJ Ford 6'0" | PG Duncanville | 2022 State TX .
