#24 – Nash Kuykendall Nash Kuykendall 6'4" | SF Sheldon | 2021 State OR – Forward – (2021 Sheldon)
Kuykendall is one of the bigger sleepers in the state. At 6-foot-4, long-armed and athletic, the senior really runs the floor and finishes above the rim. He’s creative with the basketball and keeps defenses honest with his shot. His numbers weren’t huge because Sheldon runs a very balanced offense but he can score and would be a big steal for a small college program.
#25 – Liam Ruttledge Liam Ruttledge 6'2" | CG Jesuit | 2021 State OR – Wing – (2021 Jesuit)
Ruttledge really emerged his junior year after getting moved up to varsity. The 6-foot-3 senior was deadly on the wing and corners with his smooth lefty jumper but also showed the ability to create off the bounce and score around the hoop. He’s a high-academic performer who is considering walking on at a D-I school or get scholarship money at lower levels.
#27 – Asher Krauel Asher Krauel 6'1" | CG Sherwood | 2021 State OR – Combo – (2021 Sherwood)
Krauel is an all-around athlete as he is an elite javelin thrower. The 6-foot-1 guard is a talented hoopster as well as he can really shoot the ball from the outside – in fact this past season he set a state record for points in a quarter. Krauel has continued to grow into his body physically and can score off the dribble as well. He’s looking for a spot to play both hoops and throw the javelin at the next level.
#28 – Jha-Barrie Portis Jha-Barrie Portis 6'1" | CG Southridge | 2021 State OR – Combo – (2021 Southridge)
Portis has always impressed us with his motor on the floor, especially on the boards and the defensive end. The 6-foot-1 lefty has improved his consistency with his jumper as well as his ability to create for others as well as himself. Southridge had a down year in 2019-20 but with Phil Vesel back at the helm, Portis will get a chance to lead the way as a senior.
#29 – Edy Essien Edy Essien 5'10" | CG Century | 2021 State OR – Combo – (2021 Gladstone)
Essien is one of the best shooters in the state that is flying under the radar. The 5-foot-10 combo guard has been doing it ever since his freshman year but with Century often playing in the shadow of other PDX metro area teams it doesn’t garner much attention. Essien has improved with his game off the dribble and would be a good small school combo guard.
