Brady Haun (Carter)
Brady scored 23 points over the course of his first three games. Opening week of December, Carter was forced to postpone all games until further notice.
Griffin Cooper (Columbia Academy)
The young big, Cooper accumulated 25 points through two games. GC made 12 of his 15 shots.
Kyle Cloninger (Morristown East)
The Morristown East team knocked down five three-pointers against Farragut High. Kyle’s shooting form is remarkably consistent for a young player. Further, he can already reliably deliver the pull-up jumper.

John-Michael Martin (Dayspring Academy)
Martin ran up his scoring column in his first two games: 21 points in 26 minutes against UCA, 14 points against Agathos.
Cooper Haynes (Briarcrest Christian)
Cooper is widely respected by Memphis AAU coaches and players. Both he and fellow Jaye Nash are off to a fast start. Briarcrest Christian Head Coach John Harrington revealed that Kennedy Chandler was the first 8th grader to ever dress varsity for Briarcrest. Last year both Nash and Haynes dressed varsity.
ZZ Clark (Ensworth)
Arguably the best ’24 prospect in middle Tennessee, ZZ is currently known as “Skyy’s younger brother,” but that moniker will shed with time. Though 2024 player rankings are not yet posted for PrepHoopsTN, you can expect ZZ to be at or very near the top of the list.
ZZ grew up in Los Angeles and maintains his Laker fandom, crediting Kobe Bryant with being his favorite All-Time player.
ZZ understands that his role with Ensworth High is one of convenience in that he must operate off the ball. “Last year, in my eighth grade year, I was the point guard,” shared Clark via phone call. “I lead the team. This year with my big brother playing point, I am more of a scorer. As I get older, I am going to start going back to my point guard role.”
Ensworth enters December at 2-0 with a strong win over senior-stacked Siegel High.
Stefan Gilbert (Clarksburg)
Gilbert posted some nice totals to begin the season. Competing for Class A Clarksburg, Gilbert averaged 10 ppg with 7.3 rpg. Necessarily, CHS needs to find a win afger dropped games to Gleason, South Fulton, Adamsville, and Scotts Hill. Stefan managed 18 points with 11 rebounds in the Gleason loss.
