The Wing Man Report tackles NCISAA Hoops as it kicks off this past week. Here’s a look at the latest happenings in private school hoops in North Carolina.

Trey GreenTreyGreen5'10" | PGLake Norman Christian | 2023State#139NationNC Continues to Grow

A lot has been said about Mikey WilliamsMikeyWilliams6'3" | CGLake Norman Christian | 2023StateNC at Lake Norman Christian but his backcourt mate, Trey GreenTreyGreen5'10" | PGLake Norman Christian | 2023State#139NationNC, is just as lethal. Green and Williams are emerging as a top backcourt so far in the state after knocking off The Burlington School, 91-79, this past weekend. While Williams made a statement with 40 points on 13-of-20 shooting, so did Green with 25 points, including six 3-pointers. It helps Williams is ranked No. 1 in the class of 2023 and Green is No. 11 but one is certainly making their case that they may not be ranked high enough.

The duo overcame 23 points from Jamarii ThomasJamariiThomas6'1" | PGThe Burlington School | 2021StateNC and 22 points from Howard commit Kuluel MadingKuluelMading6'10" | CThe Burlington School | 2021StateNC as well. A backcourt matchup that many are asking for: Mikey WilliamsMikeyWilliams6'3" | CGLake Norman Christian | 2023StateNC & Trey GreenTreyGreen5'10" | PGLake Norman Christian | 2023State#139NationNC vs. Robert DillinghamRobertDillingham6'2" | PGCombine Academy | 2023State#70NationNC & Jaylen CurryJaylenCurry6'0" | CGCombine Academy | 2023StateNC of Combine Academy. That would make for an entertaining game.
