This is my in-depth analysis on some of the players who showcased their talents on big stages during this quarantined summer period we had! Look for these kids to take major leaps this next year as they develop as players and athletes. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these young men as they continue to grow and begin their senior campaigns.

Rytis Peraltis 2021 6’6 Oakridge High School (Arlington)

Rytis is a sniping sharpshooter with a great all-around game. He can stroke the ball from range, the midrange and bully defenders on the block. He is a strong finisher in the paint with both hands, even against stout competition down low. I was most surprised with his ability to handle the rock and beat his defenders off the dribble. He is an intelligent player who seems to recognize when he has shifted a defender’s weight enough to shoot over them. He displayed some impressive one dribble side steps, step backs and step ins to keep the second defenders off balance as they came over to contest him. He has all the tools to be an elite offensive weapon at the next level.
