With a D1 signee and one of the top juniors in the state, 3A is loaded this year. In this article, we take a look at the top assist leaders from the 3A conference.
Lucas Walker Lucas Walker 5'11" | 155 lbs | PG Moapa Valley | 2021 State NV 5’11 PG Moapa Valley 2021 (#46PHN 2021) (featured image) – Walker had a big year last season. The playmaking PG proved that he can do more than just score the basketball, evident by his 6.1 assists per game last season.
Avery Strasdin Avery Strasdin 6'3" | SG Churchill County | 2021 State NV 6’1 CG Churchill County 2021 (#67PHN 2021) – Strasdin does a little bit of everything for the two time defending champs. That includes setting up teammates. The playmaker averaged nearly 3.2 assists per game last year.
Ethan Flynn 5’9 PG Truckee 2021 – The diminutive PG was one of the top table setters in 3A last season. He returns after averaging 3 dimes per game last year.
Matt Morton Matt Morton 6'5" | SF Boulder City | 2021 NV 6’5 SF Boulder City 2021 (#30PHN 2021) – To highlight Morton’s versatility look no further than his assist totals. The dynamic wing showed off his facilitating ability by averaging almost 3 assists per game last year.
Will Barnum Will Barnum 6'0" | PG Virgin Valley | 2021 State NV 6’0 PG Virgin Valley (#87PHN 2021) – Barnum makes the list after an impressive Junior Season. He showed that he has skills other than scoring as he averaged almost 3 assists per game last year.
Andrew Lehmann Andrew Lehmann 5'11" | SG South Tahoe | 2022 State NV 6’0 PG South Tahoe 2021 (#23PHN 2021) – The sharpshooter also spent some time hooking up his teammates with dimes. Lehmann averaged almost 3 assists per game to go along with his over 40% shooting from behind the arc.
