Notes
- We will expand this list to a top 25 Monday
- Why Waseca number one? Because they return their entire rotation (all seniors now) and it’s a team that has beaten Minneapolis North. Between the talent they have and who they have beaten, the Jays have earned the top spot.
- I am very much aware that Minneapolis North has added Andre Gray Andre Gray 6'4" | SG Mpls North | 2021 State MN . That’s why I believe North is the most talented team in the section. I do believe that North has to show that they can beat Waseca before we put them over Waseca though.
- Caledonia is the only team of the top three that lost a big name and that is Noah King Noah King 6'3" | PG Caledonia | 2020 State #478 Nation MN (which is why they move from number one at the end of last year to third). However, the Warriors will have one of their deepest teams ever as they bring back the rest of the rotation.
- Of all the teams we’ve mentioned, Perham was the lone squad that went unbeaten last season. The Yellowjackets have two of their three top guys back and will be right in the mix again.
- Next up was Stewartville and Melrose. I had to pick between Will Tschetter Will Tschetter 6'8" | PF Stewartville | 2021 State #96 Nation MN ’s dominance and the full group of talent Melrose has coming back. I went with Will with the Dutchmen next.
