Favour Aire Favour Aire 6'10" | C Bishop McNamara | 2022 State #86 Nation MD
Aire had a coming-out party to remember last season. McNamara’s man in the middle will be a daunting foe for opponents who challenge him in the paint.
Darren Buchanan Jr. Darren Buchanan Jr. 6'7" | PF Woodrow Wilson | 2022 State #101 Nation MD
Wilson’s do-it-all forward has enjoyed a brilliant start to his high school career and is steadily improving. Being named an All-Met First Teamer seems like a natural progression.
Ryan Cornish Ryan Cornish 6'3" | CG Sidwell Friends | 2021 State MD
Sidwell could be a sneaky good team this year, and Cornish will be one of the reasons for that. He has been and will continue to be a difference-maker on both ends.
Jordan Hawkins Jordan Hawkins 6'5" | SF DeMatha | 2021 State #41 Nation MD
Hawkins improved drastically from his sophomore to junior year. Expectations will be high but given his relentless work ethic that should be no problem.
Darius Johnson Darius Johnson 6'0" | PG Episcopal | 2021 State #159 Nation VA
Johnson is one of the most explosive two-way guards the DMV has seen in a while. Let’s enjoy watching him while he’s still here.
Trevor Keels Trevor Keels 6'4" | SG Paul VI | 2021 State #18 Nation VA
Keels has evolved into a fantastic all-around player. His experience level and resume made him one of the first names that came to mind when thinking of this list.
Chris Kuzemka Chris Kuzemka 5'11" | PG Centreville | 2021 State VA
With Avery Ford Avery Ford 6'7" | PF Centreville | 2021 State VA taking home first-team honors for Centreville last season, it’s would be a great story if Kuzemka could make it two in two years for the Wildcats. He certainly has a good chance.
Bez Mbeng Bez Mbeng 6'3" | CG Good Counsel | 2021 State #190 Nation MD
Mbeng has been Good Counsel’s talisman for four years now. He’s invaluable to his team and for that, he was an easy choice here.
Jakai Robinson Jakai Robinson 6'4" | SF Rock Creek Christian | 2021 State #53 Nation MD
Productivity has become synonymous with Robinson. He’s a blue-collar guy who has earned the right to make the first team as a senior.
Abdou Samb Abdou Samb 6'8" | C Frederick Douglass | 2021 State MD
Samb has been a tremendous high school player at Douglass. It’s also refreshing to think that his best playing days are still in front of him.
