In preparation for the anticipated season, we’ve been releasing comprehensive preview content covering the area in and around DMV. One of the things we like to do each year is to try and predict who will make the All-Met First Team. Here is a breakdown of all 10 candidates.

Favour AireFavourAire6'11" | CBishop McNamara | 2022State#52NationMD

Aire had a coming-out party to remember last season. McNamara’s man in the middle will be a daunting foe for opponents who challenge him in the paint.

Darren Buchanan Jr.DarrenBuchanan Jr.6'5" | SFWoodrow Wilson | 2022State#41NationMD

Wilson’s do-it-all forward has enjoyed a brilliant start to his high school career and is steadily improving. Being named an All-Met First Teamer seems like a natural progression.

Ryan CornishRyanCornish6'3" | PGSidwell Friends | 2021StateMD

Sidwell could be a sneaky good team this year, and Cornish will be one of the reasons for that. He has been and will continue to be a difference-maker on both ends.

Jordan HawkinsJordanHawkins6'5" | SFDeMatha | 2021State#41NationMD

Hawkins improved drastically from his sophomore to junior year. Expectations will be high but given his relentless work ethic that should be no problem.

Darius JohnsonDariusJohnson6'0" | PGEpiscopal | 2021State#159NationVA

Johnson is one of the most explosive two-way guards the DMV has seen in a while. Let’s enjoy
